Howdy,

I ran across someone at a Brawl tournament over the weekend with a hacked Wii and was shocked to discover he had some Japanese voices on.  I inquired how he did it and he explained he used Riivolution, which I'd never heard of until that point.  From what I've read it's basically a way more flexible way to get custom data onto games outside of Brawl, which sounds pretty great.

My problem is though, where in the world do I go to get the Japanese voices and what do I need to do with them when I get them?  I'm a technological idiot, so if this stuff is obvious to everyone else I'm almost sure it's not to me.

Thanks for any help!

Just did a quick google search and here it is.
Put it in your "sound" folder.

    Awesome, thanks!

And to be clear, I have to use Riivolution for this to work right?  I can't just use the Gecko File Replacement method, yes?

Yea, Riivolution is the only way for custom sounds.
