Yeah, staff helpers can alter submissions. So can mods and admins.
Good. Now... Why not make a community effort to fix reports? I'm not talking about major things like freezing issues, but minor things like broken downloads, broken images, etc. Some hacks have had broken downloads for a really long time. Someone out there has to have that texture, stage, etc. on their computer, right? It would be nice to see some sort of effort to remedy those long lasting reports. Now why would anyone help this effort? An award of course. People love those things (shown best by the Shadow Pin). The pin could be awarded after 5 fixed reports (contributing images or a download link for example) and "level up" from there. All that's needed is a mod/staff member willing to modify the hacks, community members willing to help, and a thread to keep it organized perhaps. |

the Vault permissions is linked to the BV Supervisor rank Actually... Only mods and admins. BrawlVault Supervisors don't have that permission. Though I expected them to. Edit: ...Not even mods. Am I reading these permissions wrong? I'm plainly seeing the "X" for that permission filled in on both global mods and BV Supervisor. |

I'd be willing to help fix up the Vault as SJS suggested. If someone sets up a thread to centralize the process, I'll be more than willing to help out in any reasonable way.
As for the whole permission question, I just assumed I had permission. That's weird.

Actually, I made a thread like that a long time ago, though it's rather obscure. Would you want a thread with an OP that BV supervisors can edit themselves, to reflect what needs fixing? Or a thread in which stuff that needs fixing is just posted throughout? The latter is a lot easier to make, but the former is more useful. |

A new thread mainly for providing fixes for hacks (instead of requesting them) editable by someone willing to put some time into it would be optimal.
