lol no patching isn't the problem.
I've never had to patch more than twice on Samus. She is by far the easiest character to vertex.
Everything below the knees has tons of vertices and almost everything there will need to be changed. Also it is one of Samus's few parts that requires patching, although it won't be many.
Oh.
Huh.
That's a lot different from Zero Suit Samus, actually. She has almost no vertices on her legs, so they're a pain to vertex.

Iv tried vertexing and every time i get pissed and quit. Too long, drawn out and complicated. Id rather animate any day.

I didn't find it too bad, actually.
I would love to give it another shot, if my 3DS trial hadn't expired. >_>I've been trying to get it via "other means," but... well, you know how that goes. |

Yeah, it looks a bit weird as of now. But it should look a lot better once a Missile actually comes out.
I should probably be working on the angled smashes.

I just feel super lazy.
Which isn't out of the ordinary, really.
But I may as well do something productive, instead of sitting here pretending to watch Goldfinger.
I just suggested something you could do....or should I say, something your torrent program can do.
Go ahead and start on those animations then. This is still going to take another day or two. Trust me, I've tried. But the torrent was taking forever to download, so I just gave up. Unless there's some way you can.... "help" me.Why certainly. I'll get started on those. |

If you find it difficult to visualize how to make her boots, just try to make the front part (the part that comes up over her calf) shorter and pointier...?
