I don't really need any references. I've already finished most of the stuff, I just need to go in and refine the texture and model. I haven't worked on it today, but I've made a little more progress on the model. Oo this one's especially nice though.

The sooner this gets released the sooner I can harass the animation gods into giving him his own moveset... *giddy giggle*

Perhaps make him Bowser's size, a little larger...? Just for that little extra effect.

I took a break to play some old games that I never got the opportunity to play before (Ogre Battle tactics and DragonQuest 3 and 6 for example). I'm probably going to attempt a few Dragon Quest characters once I get the current projects out of the way. I'm thinking DQ3 Hero (Loto) over Tlink with a size mod. He has the wild vertical hair like a Super Saiyan, so it should work fine on him, as there are several DBZ hacks on him.
I plan to start back work on the current projects later this week. Death's custom and SotN styled models are finished, but I haven't finalized either texture, nor have I even started on the hatless model. Ganon body has been updated a bit since the last picture, but other than that I haven't touched it either. Ganon.v1 will be released first, with the custom Death shortly afterwards. I'll then release the other two models together when I finish them.

Awesome, awesome. I've been watching Dai no Daiboken lately. Man, that [censored] rocks. Its an anime set in the Dragon Quest universe. I tried the main character on Toon Link. Pretty much done, except that [censored] hair that I just can't get right.
Good luck with the DQ3 hero!

For anyone that might be concerned, I never really got back into brawl hacking after my break. I don't know when I'll start again, but for now, Brawl in general has grown far too boring for me.
If enough people want them, I will release what I have left over.
As for my unfinished projects, I have:
*Ganon(ddd)-Model is good (not perfect). Texture is very basic.
*Death with hood(ddd)-Finished, don't remember why I didn't just release it.
*Death without hood(ddd)- Texture isn't finished.
*Richter(Zss)- The body is almost finished model-wise. However the hands/head/hair haven't been touched and the texture hasn't been done. I might just make a custom Zss texture for this one if I ever release it.
*Mia(peach)-Model is almost finished. Texture hasn't been started.
If any of you want to contact me or want to take over one of my unfinished projects, just message me on my Deviantart account weyard.deviantart.com, or comment in this thread. However I won't be checking this site very often so it might take weeks for me to get your message here.

Glad to see you're still alive! Did you ever get Fire Emblem of GC? You said you'll try it! I'm sure you'll find it at Gamestop, so duit! I KNOW you'll love it!

All these hacks look phenomenal, I particularly like Arcanus and Aggron, so I just have one question: Are your hacks WiFi safe unless otherwise noted? I noticed you mention that Darmanitan is not WiFi safe, but didn't say anything about Aggron or Arcanus. Does that mean I can assume that Aggron and Arcanus ARE WiFi safe? Also, have you ever considered doing a version of Alex/Arcanus over Zelda? No sword, magical (psynergy) attacks, teleporting, lots of power, as well as robes and long hair... would be perfect! A bit of vertex hacking to remove breasts, of course. I'd love to have that instead of a PSA for the Marth textures, personally. EDIT: Could potentially use Aafyre's Seymour as a starting point? http://legendarysmashteam.blogspot.com/2011/01/dont-laugh-because-he-screams-like-girl.html#moreCheers!

That sounds like a really nice idea. I'm still not back into Brawl hacking, but the announcement of SSB4 has hyped me back into playing Brawl again at least. I might get back into it at some point and consider attempting that though. I no longer have 3dsMax so any model editing would be an issue. I would also have to look into the newer vertexing methods. Looks like the community has advanced a bit since I left.
