All fixed. Also, lol at the second report telling him to use Megaupload. Damn noobs. Maybe there should be a rule that says you can't have preview pictures that don't preview your hack. You know, like, "Don't add pictures just to add pictures". |

I can't even view japanese kanji on my laptop. I have Windows XP so they come up as squares for me. =/

Also, i thought BV could handle japanese names before? It could until we moved to this host. Then something about the database changed, and now it doesn't. And I have no idea what that thing is, because the setting I changed last time this happened, on the last host, was already correctly set here. I've never been able to figure it out. |

Some guy named Jasonvalle22 messaged me asking me how to make a stage. So I went to check his profile and I realized he had like 12K downloads. So I looked at his vault and realized he got like 11.6K of them for just making rels and porting other peoples character/stage hacks over other character/stages....So i was wondering...could I do that as well? like is that legit? or would it get reported? or do i just need to get permission?

There is currently no written rule against rel ports, however they are discouraged and the Brawl Vault staff members are discussing what rules (if any) should be made regarding them. Last I checked, the general consensus was that rel ports without modifications made to the original hack were the most discouraged, but again without written rules there's no basis for deleting or reporting these kinds of ports. |

When we come to a final conclusion, I believe that no straight-up REL ports will be allowed. They can only be ported if something is edited about them.

- Straight .Rel's are not allowed.
- Rel ports must include a Readme with a full list of ALL changes.
- Original creators of hacks can port their hacks even if they don't edit them. I could port my Ike hack of Marth without edits.
This is what we are thinking of.
