Will you guys do PM alt costumes at any point? I want to use these on PM, but I don't want to replace alt costumes, but I don't want a mix of Smash 3 and vBrawl textures either. PS don't know if you're still closing the project, but please don't. Just because sm4sh is out doesn't mean Project M is dead...

*Looks at title.* *Makes image referencing a famous thing in the film industry.* Assassin Wolf confirmed?! If you guys would release a Meta Knight and Luigi psd I would cry of happiness!
PSDs are sorta on hold for now so we can finish up, sorry! They'll be released eventually, however. Will you guys do PM alt costumes at any point? Sorry, no plans to do the P:M alts. It's already taken us over a year to get here, so it would take another...maybe half year to do them all? It's not really time I would want to put into making more textures for costumes I'd never use. We're still planning on closing up after everything is done. I know only a few of the active team members still actually play P:M, and even then it's secondary to Smash 4. It's just that Smash 4 is everything we'd wanted from a Smash game, so I don't really see us going back personally (the only time we go back is to test Smash 3 stuff, we don't actually play.) But, if you still want to have the Project M alts no matter what, you can check out my texturing tutorial to learn how we did the Smash 3 textures and try to make them yourself, I'm sure the community would be thankful.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to set up some sort of Smash 3 Community Addon thread (or partially repurpose this one once you guys leave), so that there could be an organized area for high quality unofficial Smash 3 stuff.

Question: Are Dededes textures symmetrical?
Cause if not, that's wonderful news. I have a crap load of outfit ideas for Dedede.

They are symmetrical. They have to match up in the back too, sadly.

Dang it. Had this nice idea for some Pokemon-related costumes.

I also sent this to the project's Tumblr account, but i'll say it here again:
I am using Project M and the latest Smash 3 pack available, and when playing on Final Destination (P:M default/Melee) as Charizard with the P:M custom skins, the game freezes instead of loading the result screen.
For reference, I am using a 4GB SDHC card (which has increased the loading times between screens to disc levels), USB Loader GX and a vanilla Project M with loads of BRSTMs.
It only started to freeze after i installed the Smash 3 pack.
Hope someone looks into it.

Hmm, can you be a bit more specific? If Charizard and the P:M alts are freezing, it wouldn't have anything to our stuff, as we have't done anything with those. It also sounds like the SD card could have corrupted (which is known to happen...) so it may be worth backing up and restoring everything.

I know you guys haven't done Charizard, but it only started to freeze after installing the Smash 3 P:M pack. Thanks, I'll try formatting the SD card, then trying again. -some tests later- Well, the Salamence-themed skin for Charizard keeps freezing it.

For future reference prepare another vanilla project m and apply the smash 3 pack only and then test if it works. If it does freeze tell is where. Then slowly move your backup files to the new one. Keep in mind that any edits made to the pack means that is the mod or the build that contains the issue, not the s3 pack. I recomend you to follow the pattern: -Smash 3 pack, test. -Add the characters, test. -Add menu assets, test. -Add brstm, test. With this you can pinpoint the issue. Make sure you are placing the files correctly. Post Merge: October 21, 2014, 01:09:45 PM

Remove that ski then. In PM, not all models work due to file changes within the data PM made with certain characters.

Is Ike's additional model still planned for release despite the onset of Smash 4 and the relatively close culmination of the project?

Super Smash Brothers: All Stars is currently looking for new recruits! SSB:AS is a project dedicated to filling Project M with as much canon material as possible. The aim is to cram the game with movesets, textures, stages, and easter-eggs which accurately reflect each character's abilities from their respective franchises. If you are a relatively skilled hacker with an interest in helping achieve this concept, please visit the official thread by clicking on the banner, or contact me via private message. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
We need: Skilled animators, Advanced PSA specialists, Coders for Special Attacks, Proficient Modelers/Importers, Adept Stage Makers, Graphic Artists for Menus/Portraits, Play-Testers and Glitch-Finders!
*All applicants must come equipped with their own pair of nostalgia goggles
