http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=38135.0More or less. You can also steal the Materials and Shader off of KK's original Guitar. That would actually be easier than doing the tutorial.

No. confusing tut is confusing.
your better off by: steal material and shader from an object that has transperency like Zero Suit SAmus hair and import textures as C18 format not CMPR make sure to enable palletes on the materials too also make sure you textures have transperency in them
or you can steal the materials/shaders from my latest hack: "Shadow's Shadow"

Oh! And one thing! I'd recommend RGBA8 for the texture format. C14 and C18 are good, but they give palettes (which kills texture quality). Try to avoid using them whenever possible. Granted, KK doesn't have much detail, but his strings need all the help they can get, lol. Also, since he looks to be a pretty low filesize, RGBA8 (which takes up the most space) would be perfect for him. Try to use that one whenever you can.

RGBA8 is the best quality but also uses up the most memmory, CMPR is the lowest quality and memmory amuont used. But if the textures are pretty much in CMPR format like say Mario Galaxy, most textures look the same when using the RGBA8 and the CMPR formats, so it's best to use the CMPR to save on file size without ruining the quality. Always go for the best quality and with the lowest file size.

I make YouTube videos, SM64 hacks, Brawl Hacks (obviously), NSMBW hacks, and GoldenEye 007 Mods. I also have a short attention span and tend to switch around a lot and put things on hold. But when I do finish things, 95% of the time I gave 120% effort, the other 5% of the time I give 100% effort.
