I tried using the Riku PSA with Brawl+, I think the Animation engine code effects it, he is all jumpy and sometimes he will T-Stance, but if you disable the code it works fine.

Like, professionally, I think. You can't go submitting what you create to companies or something weird like that.

Nope. Unless you import your stuff from Blender into 3DS.

However, you can legitimately obtain a student version of 3DS from the website. It's fully functional and free of charge, the only catch being that you can't publish what you make.

What do they mean by publish exactly ?

The only guides I see in the Model section are for 3DS Max, is it possible to import models using free software like Anim8or, or similar ? It would have to be able to rig the vertices to the bones and all that.

The only reason I ask this is because there is no freaking way I would EVER cough up more than 3000 bucks for a piece of software, and I do not wish to obtain it with "other methods" .

I threw in that PSA to make use of the swords included. I realized it was kinda cheap and but never knew it was almost impossible to beat him.  O.o

It's not exactly impossible, but he will destroy you if you give him the chance XD I tried it again, but fought him with Link this time, almost won but he managed to nail me with the normal smash attack in the unsealed mode. The moveset fits him though.

Good lord, I fought against that one NoHeart hack with the Dark Emperor moveset over Ganon, I don't think I killed him one time during that round.

I'm not familiar with that stage expansion code, but I'm glad to hear that your problem is solved.

You should remove all stage related codes and see if this still occurs
and if you're using Stage Expansion codes with Riivolution, you should consider downloading a different .xml

btw, if you missed my last help topic, it was about getting Brawl+ and codes to load
on a UNEEK+DI, Riivolution looks for an unmodified ios37 ( I think ) so unfortunately, Riivolution was not a choice, wish it would work though, I'd be able to play those custom MKW courses and those custom NSMBWii levels, and it looks so simple to use.

He's asking for the exact directory of where you put the sc_selcharacter in your SD Card, not where you put the CSPs on the sc_selchar
Also, would you happen to be using any stage expansion codes?

I do have the Stage Roster Expansion System v1.1 [Phantom Wings] code, could this be the issue ?
I'm actually not even sure what it's for, do any Brawl hacks use it ? Obviously expands the stage roster.

Alright, I took a look at the file, and it seems to be under the file size limit, so maybe you put it in the wrong place? Or you don't have the right codes?

Nah, I know I've been putting them on the right character ( I'm not even sure if it would matter where you put it in the char_bust_tex_lz77 ) and I don't think it really requires any
codes aside from the File Patcher code. Maybe something is wrong with the CSPs ?

EDIT : Whats the max filesize anyways ? It'd be nice to know in case something like this happens again.

Alright, issue is that when I replace a characters CSP
after I have done so for a couple others, the game will
freeze when you select an option that brings up the
character select screen, does this have something to
do with the filesize of the sc_selcharacter ?
I know the images I have been using are the same
size as the ones already there ( 128x160 ) .

I actually just installed this, just do what Ricki said and make sure you added the CSS Fix code
into the GCT. I had this same issue until I read the post a little more and saw it needed the
fix code to work properly.

Do you have the model? If not you need to download the Riku model from here:

Then rename it to FitIke00 if it isn't already named.

@Disc Murderer the problem must be at your end. Let me try and help. Is this your first time using hacks? Do you know how to set it up.

Oh yes, I know how, way before my DVD drive died on me I had my entire roster hacked.
If it works for you guys it probably is a problem on my end.

How I tried to install this hack :
Download the hack, and copy the files to Ike's folder.
It works without the motion file but the model does not change
without it. I've also tried renaming FitIke to FitIke00
