If you can handle renaming and conversion, I can break them up for you and send them off. I can also try to cut the echo from 8's files, but it's probably best left to someone with experience.
Yeah. I've gathered his lines from Mario Party 7 and 8, as well as Mario Kart DS (good for the wiimote's speaker), but they're only MP3s with all of them. I have yet to split them up and convert them (and edit the echo out of . What I really want is his files from Strikers Charged. "WA-LU-I-GI!" It's hard to get a good supply of attack sounds, but what I have sets us for win screens and taunts. After that, wouldn't the PSA itself need altering to get the sounds inclded, so we'd have to send it to one of the project heads?
Warlock Punch appears to have three times the reach, though. WAA seems more like a slow-engaging, slightly longer-range Fire Jump Punch. I just think it's worth testing with a tad more range.
I'm honestly not sure about how .sawnd files work, but I'll see what I can do with what I have so far. Thanks for the support, and if anybody finds a way to get his lines from the soccer games, that's some premium stuff. As is the apparently hard-to-access assist trophy sounds. TO THE TUTORIALS!
That's unfortunate. I'm running 64-bit, and it doesn't look like there's an easy fix. I'll see what I can do on my own with BrawlBox.
Does anyone know any good sources for Waluigi voice clips? So far I only have Youtube rips of his Mario Party 7 and Mario Kart DS lines (8 was too echoy to be worth it).
Do you know where to get the program/what it's named? I have Windows 7, so I'll look it up. If it doesn't work on 7, I'll just have to get a new harddrive for my old scuttled laptop and install Linux or XP on it.
Right, but is there a way to limit the availability of the shots? Basically anything at the current fire rate can juggle a little too well, but a solid shot which can be used only one in a while/leaves you open to attack while being used/gives you only one clear shot on average has a tactical factor. Wisp's B-side charges over time, so could something like that be done? Or could a balance between fire rate and the scope's power be found? I really wish I could help more than asking questions.
Ah, that's disappointing. But you do what you can, and he's still awesome. It's really the mechanics of the move that bug me. For one, ray gun juggling is really easy, and for two, it makes him drop his current item. I guess there's also no way to make it fire a slightly-charged super scope shot with a greater delay? That'd give him sort of a Samus feel, but charge time is exchanged for a weaker shot.
