Maybe I'm not making myself clear lol. I have a marth sound bank sawnd over diddy, who he's ported over. Sephiroth is over the original marth slot. I don't want marth to have sephiroth's voice, so I figured the diddy has diddys sound bank code would make it use the marth sawnd. But no haha. I'm trying to figure out how to change the Sfx id in smash attacks but I don't know how to edit the right part -_-

Because sephiroth's sfx is over marth. the person who did the marth over diddy rel actually had a marth sawnd for it though. But it's only wanting to have any sfx when I have sephiroth-over-marth in the same match. I thought a diddy has diddy's sound bank code would help, but nothing lol

I see a lot of these popping up, if there's no files over him you might not be seeing, try playing him without the smashbrossound brsar

I know how to use codes to give ported characters their original characters sfx but I'm having a hard time getting the 'Marth over diddy' rel's provided marth sawnd to work. It only has sound when I play with the original marth slot, whom I have sephiroth and his six over. I even used a diddy has diddy sound bank code. Any tips?

Like say, I want to put link over toon link, but I want to replace the original link with a different character, giving him a different voice. Could I somehow put, say, a melee link sawnd file over the took link slot? I tried inserting it using toon links ID but that didn't work

Okay so the gct file I have is definitely working. Because now I have the alloys and Giga Bowser. But the code I tried to use isnt working still

Actually I got it! Ended up using the gct editor, codemanager just doesn't work with mine for whatever reason. This even fixed my mystery Sonic problem where if I put any voices in the sound brsar his slot would freeze. Lol thanks for the help guys

thats what i figured haha, so it confused me when he mentioned them separately. But I'm not sure, I've been having a hard time finding one I know doesn't have it

Okay, we'll I have it working for the most part. The codes still aren't though. When I downloaded his riivo, it said to put the gct and codes in the pf folder, so I did. I then entered a code through the code manager and it created a codes folder on the root, but no codes

?? Lol

Alright ill give it a try. Do the folders have to be set up like gecko, or can I still place everything in sd/ssbb?

I've tried a few xml's but never with any different result. I had mine set up like most tutorials have said to with everything in sd/riivolution. This is the first time I've heard of different ways to set it up though

Okay, so I've tried everything. I use riivolution 1.4 and no matter what I do, codes just do not want to work. If anyone has any insight on this please respond!

Hey everyone what's up. I have a pretty frustrating problem atm. For reasons I just can't seem to understand, Sonic freezes whenever I have a smashbros_sound.brsar on my sd card. Works fine otherwise. I'm trying to get him, Knuckles and Shadow and I have to use that slot. Thanks for any help!
