It seems to work fine, but the clones have Mario's icon.
I think I can fix this issue as I believe I have finally pinpointed the code inside the GCT that controls the stock icons, I can't make any promises however because I am not the best at these kind of things. I take offense to that >.> xD jk PM 3.6 is coded to use BeX, i decoded all the files myself. its well since been updated. the problem is a change they made to AllStar mode from 3.5-3.6. it is now set up to read stocks for each character in a match when you play that mode. however it seems that its a universal change as it affects how stocks are loaded in all instances. it overwrites the BeX coding so stocks don't load correctly. once we find that change and remove it BeX should be compatible again. we currently have someone lookig into it.

Oh wait I misunderstood you I thought you used everything within project m. Thats why I found it so weird because noboby has been able to clone a character within project m because of the GO issue as I mentioned before.
I didn't use everything within Project M but I did use 95% of their codes and files into my pack, it's a little strange why it crashes for you at the beginning of a match.
I've tried that with Doc but I had no avail, I'll try again later in the day. I can't really answer your question since I don't know what kind of codes and files you are using in your pack.
I've been working on getting P:M 3.6 to work with BrawlEx, it was going extremely well until I reached the point of the stock icons that are shown mid-battle and air dodging. Shovel Knight may be joining..... Also many PSA graphical changes and SFX fixes, and so many crash fixes that the game only crashed once while I was play testing with my friend, reason why the game crashed is because he used Ganon's side B but I am sure I can fix that.
Whenever I try to modify these .pac files, I get a freeze. (P.D: I was using BrawlBox for that, then Tabuu, but both failed). Do you use a Hex Editor or what?
SFX IDs...? Are you triyng to change the Attack and death sounds?
Hey, I have to say that Sephiroth is not completed.
His sword trails are completely white unless fighting Marth, in which case the sword trails will be red.
Some of those trails are blue though (probably because he's using the common GFX).
And some Marth SFX IDs are still there. There are no SFX conflicting, but facing Marth makes Sephiroth have some SFX that are not heard when not fighting Marth (none of those SFX are voices, though).
Unfortunately Sephiroth is being replaced in Project Dan, however I can fix all those issues for you if you want, it shouldn't be too much of a hassle.
So far, Project Dan is going smooth, we added a good amount of codes from PM, it was time consuming however due to the fact I had to tick each code 1 by 1 to figure out why the game kept crashing and what not. It's really stable actually, me and my friend were testing it like mad and we haven't had a single crash..... Well except for Ganondorf using his Side B but I'm sure I can fix that.
