After months of toiling over importing guides,I was finally able to find one that I was able to use and now ready to start on almost every single import I begged and pleaded from members here. There's not alot, mainly because I forgot what I asked for and partly that I download to many models to actually start skin wrapping them.
I still do SFX hacks, I just wanted to change things up before I ended up completely bored with brawl hack'n all together and moved towards Skyrim modding.
I don't know what else to say now.... So here are my latest stuff uploaded and or pending.
Greetings everyone, I am Raijinmaru also known as Reaver Ind. here and other places. But mostly here. I decided to start making some CSP stuff that spawned off from a Sonic CSP, SSP related request in the request section. Once after I followed Nanobuds tutorial (very helpful, thanks!), I decided to start posing some of the Sonic Characters and making crap for them. I do plan on doing other things for them as well, but for now I'll juggle around college, SFX hacks and CSP stuff.
So here is the first small little batch of Sonic stuff: KTH Classic Sonic texture from old vertexed model, The New Mighty The Armadillo model, My version of a Fury Modern Sonic with Classic eyes, and Bean The Dynamite.
Well I'm not new to the whole thing of the 3D ripper DX thing, I've seen many use it and was able to rip models from games. But It's not working for me. exactly what do you need to have this program to work? As of right now, I have 3DS Max 2010 and 2011 and the latest directX installed.
Some places say that you need a lower directX and a lower version of 3ds max. Which ones do I get so that I can rip models from games? And if I don't need to change versions, then where would the files be extracted to?
Well I finally got mine about a week ago, and I ran into some problems with recording. While in the program, the screen will flip and and the picture will always be in black and white. I think I might have hooked up the cords in the wrong spots, though I had no problems hooking the stuff up in my room.
However, there is hardly any room for the Wii with the various anime model displays in the room; so the wii is connected in the dinning room of the house.
Can anyone with a Roxio capture device, help me getting passed the problems I'm running into please?
I'm getting some problems with my mediafire page with all of my Brawl hacks. For some reason, its only my files that's not loading up for me but other mediafire pages do. Has this happened to anyone else? Its just stuck on the page trying to load my files, yet any other page will quickly load up.
Okay, I'm having some trouble on changing the character names and Stage icons, stage names and icons and Also with the new custom sound engine code. I removed the names on the code yet it doesn't work for me. For some reason, Link's music only plays the result screen where as everyone else has their original victory theme unaffected by the codes. I was thinking it had something to do with my XML file. So I was going to post it up if anyone could figure out what I'm doing wrong for the CSS names and SSS freezing and the CSE not working:
I am trying my hand in making a CSS name for L'Arc, but it continues to freeze on me before I can get to the character select screen. I'm trying to replace Ike's name on the select screen. Can anyone help please?
This is the main sound that I have no idea for the next offset to replace it without it silencing the non-voice sounds in the sound.brsar file. can anyone help me out so I can get Tifa's sfx hack back on the vault please? Again, it'd ZZS's sound "wave 35" found in the 0x2F2 box in the sound.brsar US version.
Older versions may be redone for better quality with the newer Sawndz and will be uploaded as well. This will keep the reports against me at a minimum. This is not a direct hit on any members of KC-MM, its just me finally taking notice of the problem and doing something extreme about it. All sound effect in my mediafire is still there and will remain there until I can get the previews for them:
Regarding other versions like PAL: It is a different area for me, and I'm not all that comfortable in working on a sound hack that I have no way of testing. It'll be up to the requester to do that and if the client does not agree with these terms, then I will scrap the file.
Regarding older sfx mods before Sawndz 0.1: These mods are old. I can't stress that enough, I really don't expect them to be downloaded as much since a new version of sawndz is out and the demand for better is also out there. The revisions on some of these mods may or may not happen due to reality circumstances. It may be planed, but I wouldn't hold my breath on the matter.
Regarding projects and Requests: The daily life of a human always takes higher priority, hobbies like game modding, that's only meant for leisure and entertainment for himself/herself or for the happiness of others can easily be placed on the back burner or ceased without any indication of any sort. But I will do one of the projects before that happens.
Regarding sfx for multiple ports of the same character: The long awaited stipulation I shall place on the multiple ports sfx. Well first off, it is very tiresome to juggle this and also around my life outside of here, hoping it'll get better. Some may have already became a witness on how slow progress for there hack took. But for the most part it became easier since I could use the empty spots some of the time inside the sound.brsar file.
I will only go up a single character (Roy) over five different characters. Once that character had gotten all five slots filled, he and I will be finished, since I refuse to try and replace the whole roster with one character. And some don't have enough sound files to even make a full replacement. So this is my stipulation towards multiple character ports sfx.
Textures are textures and this is where my SFX hacks will be. With the magic of Sawndz 0.12 (no longer 0.11), more sfx hacks will be made easier and now longer. though I may drag my feet from time to time, I'll still manage to get some sfx files converted and ready for others to use with Sawndz.
Be sure to download Sawndz 0.1, from the Brawl Vault in the resource section! If not on the vault then look for it in the On-Topic section: http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=22464.0 , and remember to thank Jaklub for the updates, mastaklo and a special thanks to stickman for the creation of this program!
SAWNDZ replacement *Anything in the spoiler tag is obsolete and only is meant for the previous 0.072 version of Sawndz. If you decided to still use this method then by all means read away. But if you have the latest version, then follow the link to the new Sawndz*:
1.BACK UP FILES! The most important rule that is always to be told.
2.smashbros_sound.brsar goes in Sawndz folder 3.Go into replacements folder and rename the "sound #.wav" that you wanna convert to "sound.wav" 4.Move "sound.wav" file in the sawndz folder 5.Start up Sawndz.exe 6.CLick "LOAD" in the "SAVE" section 7.Search the "replacements" folder for the corresponding "character sound#.dat" file and load. 8.Press "convert & insert" 9.Remove "sound.wav" from folder
10.REPEAT UNTIL MARTH character of your choice SOUNDS LIKE ROY the character of your choice!

HOW TO MAKE HEX PACKS
1.take your edited brsar sound file back to the Sawndz directory 2.Open Sawndz 0.072 3.Open Smashbox 0.57 4.Find the character group folder you want to make a hex packet for 5.Copy the first Data Offset of the group folder 6.Go back to Sawndz 7.Past that offset in the area at the bottom that says "beginning offsets" 8.Go back to Smashbox 9.Now move down to the next character, and take the first Data Offset of it's group folder 10.Go back to Sawndz 11.Past that offset in the area at the bottom that says "ending offsets" 12.Press save
13.Congrats! you made a hex pack! Remember to keep the Offsets so you can insert other sfx mods for that character. To insert the hex packs follow these instructions:
HOW TO USE HEX PACKS
1.Place desired Hex-Pack in the same folder with the Sawndz program. 2.Use the Data1Offset of the character you want to change sfx with for the beginning offset 3.Press Insert. 4.Locate the Hex-Pack 5.Press Open 6.Wait for it to be placed in your sound.brsar file 7.Check your sound.brsar file to see if you have the sounds completely in it. If you see nothing what-so-ever, then you didn't place the offsets in and you screwed up. You did back up your file didn't you?
8.If you have your sounds in it then Congratz on following these steps and Congratz on modding your sound.brsar file!
9.Enjoy!
.DAT FILE CONVERSION 4 SAWNDZ0.071
If you are one of the people who went to load a .dat file from Sawndz 0.51 on Sawndz 0.72 and ran into an error, then this is for you. A simple fix really. All you have to do is load the old .dat file, then re-save it. You should now be able to install your sfx mods without any errors now.

What I'm Working on...
*Note: these may be worked on in any order, depending on if I have the resources for them* =======================================================================
*These will take an considerable amount of time to complete depending on if I get free time to do them and if both sides are working together to bring fast and excellent results* =======================================================================
*These are the hacks that didn't make the cut due to not having a stable import or not having enough sound/voice clips for a proper replacement or a lack of interest for them. They may be revived when a model import is fixed from the common glitches that makes it difficult to play or if I have time to cut and splice up some clips together to make a replacement (not easy!). I may upload the voice clips that I was intentionally was going to use and let whom ever take it upon themselves to continue the hack.* =======================================================================

I do not own any of these portraits. All portraits used in the making of this thread will be credited to their original creator. All Video games and voice actors/actress's used for the making of these SFX hacks are credited as well. This is for no profit and is just a just a hobby to have game characters with our favorite Voice Actors/Actresses. Those whom are regarded as bad at voice acting games and animes gets positive recognition here and seldom hear of any discouraging words or slander. It is a tribute to our beloved Voice actors/actresses.
I also do not own Sawndz. Credit for the creation of this program all goes to Jaklub, mastaklo special thanks to stickman and other men who contributed to brawl sound swapping, which is listed in the credits section already. THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS POSSIBLE! =======================================================================
How do you make them? I got a pm from a user requesting hex packets for my sound files for the sawndz program since inputing wave & dat after wave & dat files is time consuming and annoying. So if anyone knows how to do, please tell me. Thank you.
The title says it all. It doesn't matter which pokemon trainer I pick or which pokemon I have first, I can't switch pokemon at all. I have checked the .PAC files and the .PCS files and they seem to be fine. But I can't find what's causing the problem
I'm trying to have Sonic's normal face expression take over his Grin expression and his Fun expression. Like how Shadow would usually have the Angry mouth expression over his Grin or Fun mouth expressions. Does anybody know how to do this, and if so please help me. Thank you.
I don't know when this started, but now my wii wont allow me to take snap shots of SSBB. It will say "Insert SD card" when ever I go and take a snap shot. It loads my textures and everything but It will not let me take any in game pictures. Is there a wad file or something that will fix my SD card for SSBB?
I remember Having that Roy texture with the Issac hair style and it worked out fine, but now every time I hover over the ROY icon it freezes. I went back to change everything back to normal marth but it still ended up freezing on me. I'm going to change it back to Marth after this post but I still want to play as Roy. can anyone help me fix this? it only freezes on ROY so everyone else is safe.
