lol I wouldn't go that far. I can make expressions pretty well but when it comes to making accurate faces, that's where I get stuck. I think Pik's the best face vertex hacker out there right now. I might be third behind BeyondYou if I'm lucky.

But yeah, this is more what I was going for with the anime face:



Either way, I do agree that it could use more work but I figured I made you guys wait long enough already so I released what I had :).

Compare to the ORIGINAL Final Fantasy VII, not Advent Children, Wolfric. >.>;

I was comparing the Advent Children one, Velen, not the FFVII one. XD And even the FFVII one looks a bit off-place (JUST the face, though).

Also, I'm HIGHLY aware about Aafyre's skills... Don't take me wrong guys... I was just giving feedback for it to reach a "perfect" state, by more experienced I meant "If he feels he couldn't do it perfectly as he said, he could get some help, I was not saying Aaf is bad at it...

I can see the resemblance for the FFVII one! But there's something missing.... I'm not sure what is... (Concerning the FFVII's one)

Don't worry wolfric, no offense taken. Like I said, I just use the ZSS version myself. It would be great if somebody wanted to fix up the anime face (and even the AC face) up for me if they had free time. I usually like making outfits and hairstyles more than faces personally.

Italian, Wolfric isn't being a troll. He wasn't being rude or anything and I actually completely agree with everything he said. The face definitely could use work (since I just copied and pasted it from my Haruhi that I made several months ago). As long as people are polite about it, I can take criticism fine and I don't see anything wrong with what's been said about it so far.

I may not be able to vertex, but I sure as hell can tell people what I think needs improvement.

Tifa looks decent Aafyre, I know theres some bad animation issues and minor texture problems but ive worked with ZSS several times (unreleased hacks mostly) and i can understand why, textures are oddly mapped and since theres no extra polys to work with the body is your only option to vertex with.

so yeah nice job with this man, Lickitung still being worked on or did the bones mess him up too much?

Yeah, ZSS is really tough to texture properly. Her arms especially are extremely confusing to figure out. Well, I did the best that I could and while it isn't perfect, I still think it came out pretty well.

Really, the body IS perfect, and the hair really matches her FFVII's style, there's nothing that needs to be changed! Also, I didn't think you'd be able to pull off that Crisis Core outfit... I couldn't believe it when I saw it. o_o Outstanding, indeed.
