I've been around. I just got back from a vacation to Alaska and I'm working part time. I think I just needed a break from making hacks because I was starting to lose interest and wanted to play some other games for a change. There are still a lot of things I want to make so I won't be permanently quitting any time soon (at least until Smash Bros. 4 comes out).
I still don't really know how to do many technical things in Brawl like swapping parts between characters, moving bones, fixing normals, and other minor issues but I think I can still manage with most of it.

Thinking about getting back into hacking soon. Should I start with Sephiroth v2 (plus shirtless & Kingdom Hearts versions) or the Black Knight (from Fire Emblem)

Yeah I wanna see Black Knight simply because we see a little too much Sephiroth around here.
I wasn't under the impression there was even any room to improve on him.

Well, to be honest, I didn't really vertex his face at all other than his eyes. If I changed him, it would probably just be his face, and making his head and shoulder pads slightly smaller. When I get around to it, I'd also like to make some alternate outfits for him like Kingdom Hearts and shirtless versions.
