I'm not a fan of Tidus, either, but there's something we have to admit:
At least he's not emo like most in FF. 
In general FF characters aren't emo. 7, 8, and 13 are the only ones with a specifically emo-theme. The earlier games are pretty cheery. |

When I saw Tidus was one of the few non-emo, I meant in Dissidia.

That's true enough, and he had a bit of reason to be emo in AC... He was dieing, due to Geostigma, and was having regrets... And yes, at the end, he got over those...
Dissidia... That's sorta an alternate timeline, and since AC Cloud was popular at that time... And honestly, in some way, they... Kinda made him a bit FF7ish in Dissidia 012, giving him more snarky lines, like... When fighting himself. "Not you again..."
But then again, Tidus wasn't emo either, he was actually... Well, with all things considered, (not gonna spoil), he actually held up well... |
