Alright... I, like, worked a bit on the textures for, like, his clothes and eyes, as well as, like, his hair vertices now.
Though, the texture part can't, like, really be seen in 3DS Max... but whatever, dudes.

But since I'm, like, not really sure about this, I, like, made a poll to let you decide. So, like, tell me. Keep it like that or work some more?

Alright guys, last attempt.
As "suggested", I've done some more work on Luffy's face, and just as predicted, even with a reference, I didn't get much further. I made a slightly new poll to get some opinions.
But please let me warn you: When all of you vote for me having to do more work on this without giving any opinions or ideas on what to change in the form of a reply here... well, then I can only say screw you, and release him like that.

Still needs a little work in my opinion.
It doesn't need alot done, but I'd make the face wider and shorter...

Use his Manganime appearance for reference:

(the reference you have may be from an actual One Piece game, but it looks awful :-\)

Face could be more recognizable by rounding the mouth/jaw area a bit more instead of it being so long.
And kill the length of his nose. and you're good.

So far, it seems you've only (noticeably) edited the eyes and the mouth.

Like spirit said, the jaw should be different. You should also edit the nose. It kind of just looks like Marth with big eyes atm.
