Hello:P.
You see, I have a friend that goes to my school. Well, I was talking to him about super smash brothers, he said he hacked it. I said orly? He said yes. I asked him what he has done, he created two movesets, Elmo and Peter Griffin. I asked which characters they were over, he said none, he found a way to bypass that. I don't know if he is telling the truth or not. He also said they aren't over nana and the alloys and such.
Well, he seems amazing at it, considering both movesets are fully custom (Custom vertex, texture, moveset, animations).
I haven't seen what he has done yet, but I am planning on seeing it sometime soon. Anyone know if the character limit bypass is possible? Or is he lying. He is also insanely truthful, but I am the scepticle type, so I do not know whether to believe it or not.

Unless your friend is Dantarion, I doubt he bypassed the character limit. This stuff is just now being figured out and little regarding it has been released to the public.

As far as I am aware, it is not possible to increase the amount of character slots beyond the ones used by the Forbidden Seven, the Alloys, Giga Boswer, and Warioman.
I think your friend needs to provide proof of this with a video.

Yes, like I said I am scepticle. If however it is true when I finally get to see it, I will request for him to release his method. It would astound me however if it is true.

Ask him what a .rel file is.
If he somehow has an editor or has edited one by hand (lol) there is absolutely no way in HELL that he has done it.

Elmo and Peter Griffin. Sounds like M.U.G.E.N. to me, not Brawl. I can definitely say your friend is a liar. I think it IS MUGEN, I believe there is a Peter Griffin for it and it wouldn't surprise me if there was an Elmo too. Not to mention that you can add characters. |

There's a Peter Griffin for it, it has an MvC gameplay, and one of the updates can make him Wavedash.
Take that with a pinch of salt. >.>;
