No frickin' clue.
Anywho, I have a math exam today, so I won't really be able to animate anything until much later on. Expect a tiny video then, though.

Thanks. I even got his wings to be transparent.
It freezes if you hit B though, because I replaced his sword with an empty model. I need to figure out what I'm going to do with it.
Metals are another issue. /:

Try making the sword texture invisible. Or scale the sword model to 0.

I think what I'm going to do is delete the polygons and try to import just the bones. And if that doesn't work... well, I got a few tricks up my sleeve.
We'll see.
Edit: Well, my plan didn't work. Luckily, I was able to get it working with Meta Knight's sword, so I guess I can keep it like that for now.

At first it was like
And then it was like
And now it's like
In case you can't tell, I found a better sky texture, and it blends in much more nicely than the previous ones. Or so I think.
I also fixed the brown Arwing/Wolfen issue with the magic of lighting editing. Now they look nice and shiny. =D
All that's left is to fix the collision issues I'm having with the quintessential Arwing platform, maybe tweak the boundaries and camera, and SSS stuff. Then it should be good to go.
Yep.
Here have a Ridley preview

Now, set the cull to 'cull all' that'll make the model not be rendered.

Well, I guess I could do that to the sword, but what I really wanted to do was add some sort of makeshift sword of my own design.
But since filesize limits suck, that won't be happening for a while. I can just leave the sword as it is since it still works, but I might as well just cull it.

Thanks, glad someone likes it. XD
Things are good, I suppose. Haven't done much animating since I've began modeling a new stage I want to work on.
Of course, since I never really learned the techniques of modeling, I've had to reteach myself everything. I posted a preview picture in the WIP thread, but I quickly deleted it because I found a much better base to work with.
Hopefully I'll be able to show a preview this weekend. :]

So, i like the Kirby hack you've made, it's amazing, and when do you plan on finishing ridley? just out of curiosity.
i've got a funny custom model idea, but i don't know if it can be done. pretty much Princess Peach with Various armor bits from characters. example.
The shoulderpads of Metaknight, Ganon's Chest plate, ETC ETC. but over peach, with Kamina Glasses and the Club is Master Sword, Racket is Ike's Sword, and the Frying Pan is a Scythe of somesort.
now ignoring how much work it would require, would it cause lag due to adding in so many polygons? i've heard i could add these parts but simply removing the old polygons and adding in the new ones, and adding in new ones. i'd love to do this, and put the Team Dai-Gurren symbol on her back. =3

I'll loop back to Ridley at some point. I have a habit of getting distracted by things, anyone who's followed this thread can tell you that.
AKA no one.
And yes, that is all entirely possible. And, in fact, it wouldn't be too hard if all of those models were readily available. Aside from the Brawl models of course. It would just be a matter of importing her, removing the pre-existing models (driver, frying pan, etc) then re-rigging all the single binds. Not too tough I suppose.
Whether or not it'll lag the game would depend on the poly count of each model, however.
