    I said it a page back or so, but it's a reimagining of the tunnels of SR-388 that you travel through in Metroid II based off of Sector 1 in Metroid Fusion.

    Here's some reference pics:





    The texture isn't finalized, and I have yet to model the vegetation and the pillars that go in the holes in the wall, so I'd say the background is about 40% complete. Lots of stuff left to do.

    Actually, like I've said, it'll play more like Corneria, where the background will be animated but the fighting will take place on a platform that's flying through the caves.

    Much easier to do.

    Each chamber will be rigged to a bone and animated, as well as turned off using vis0 when looping. I've got it all planned out.

    Except for the platform. Dunno what that's gonna look like yet.

    I was thinking of something like PT's platform from Corneria with the jet thrusters so that it can actually fly, but a little more rocky? Something like that, I'll have to make a few sketches or something.

    This is a very cool stage

    Thanks, just remember it's only maybe 4/7ths of the way there. XD

    Lots of stuff left to do, including modeling some of the enemies from Metroid II from scratch, since I can't seem to find any models anywhere for some reason.

    Yeah, the problem is I run out of ideas pretty quick. XD

    I'm not entirely sure which areas to model next, which is why I'm probably gonna just move on to modelling some enemies. Ah well.

    well other m has those spiky enemies right? and the disc ones too so what are you modeling?

    I think the only two enemies that would be justifiable to use would maybe be Kihunters and Sidehoppers, since those can be found in Metroid Fusion, which takes place in a lab that contains specimens from SR-388. So yeah, extrapolation at its finest.

    Other than that, I'd need to make a Hornoad model, as well as a few others whose names elude me right now. They aren't very complex in design, so it shouldn't be tough. One of them is literally a pancake.

    I don't blame you, I hardly know any of the names of the enemies either. Especially the ones from Metroid II.

    There's a list online though, with images and stuff, so it should be fine.
