It's pretty much a useless point system based on how much you help out around the forum.
(E.g telling people not to double post, redirecting people to the right section etc.)
It has no real value as far as I'm aware of.

But you don't really get it for helping people... you get from scolding people more than anything  |

I was under the impression that Mods awarded you karma points for being the first to answer/solve someone's question in the help section. They really do seem kinda pointless.
