I really loved your Peach's Castle, and i loved the preview of Great Bay, but i will wait for a swimable ver. i have a question? what will be your next port? Pokemon Floats? That level of ice climbers (i cant remember the name now) or another one? and also, is possible to port a stage from SA2B to brawl?

yeah id like a new ice climbers stage because the brawl one sucks

lol Icicle Mountain... thats in like 3.dat files... and many models too o.e

but.. i GUESS i can ask Oshtoby to do those next after making PokeFloats and Brinstar Depths become compatible with my 3DS Max 2010... cause he made it in 2011 and it wont even open the .max file in 2010 =/

I've been getting pretty much everything you were submitting even before the OBJ imports and now it's even more likely that I'll be having a lot of your stages in my expanded SSS :af2:

I really guess you should give people what they want, specially when it's quick to do. You don't even need to add modeldatas.



A small edit I made for Ryan, who's already doing some texture editing stuff for himself. I guess Italian already made his own swimmable version too. When the one making the stage doesn't do what people want, people start editing things for themselves.

If you want this small edit, ask Ryan for it  :kdance:

yeah i already messaged him for the edit he did to it.

only reason y i didnt include a swimmable version is cause i have alot of stages i've been working on at the same time as great bay, and i dont like working on 1 at a time, ya kno? and as for ppl editing it for themselves, im not really sure, i just dont like it really when they do that... cause to me, its like their doing it all ahead of me for whenever i get the chance to make V2 of Great Bay.

The point is that there should not be a v2 great bay. Or at least, fixes that are possible now shouldn't be left for v2. You really made a good job with the stage, really, I've played and enjoyed your work. But there's one bad spawn point, I've seen at least 3 collision errors, and people are asking for that swimmable version now, not in the future.

V2 should be just a shade fix for an almost perfect stage. You should fix those things now. It's better making 1 good stage than 5 uncomplete ones IMO.

true.. i see ur point in that. but obj imports cant have shaders, so i cant really do that until the dae to mdl0 is complete =/
......
i guess i can make it as a 1.5 then when the dae to mdl0 is complete i can make it as a V2 so that it has the shaders, and better looking textures (and with the giants also in the background).

well ill wait till i get a reply from Ryan, and in the meantime, imma keep working on Mute City, a twilight princess stage AND also city escape... all at the same time... to many brawlbox's windows open Dx

i like your stage dsx8 and yeah you shouldve have made swimable version included i dont no about from the start though...becuz without swimable water the stage to me is very challenging lol(which i like) becuz on that stage even cpus can ko me instead of getting constanly owned so i still like the non swimable version ya did a good job overall
