but thats just a model extractor...?
no... it started as that but in more recent posts and pages, he has been working on getting a GUI for importing and exporting models. start from like page 85 and then read Pharrox's posts

its NOT a guess.
the entire idea of making a 3d model for brawl is that you will have made an ANIMATED model for brawl. what moron would release an unanimated model? I guess if it was a particle based character like whisp, but other than that...

there is probably data that tells how the texture is wrapped on the model, possibly in the pac/pcs files themselves. it might be possible to use data other models have on how their textures wrapped around, and simply import the model and textures together

I don't think so. If you view a Brawl model and texture in Blender, Blender hasn't been told any specifics about the textures, but can still replace them alright. 3Ds Max wraps them perfectly as soon as you pick the texture. So, sense the texture and model are both held in the same file (.pac), I'm guessing they'll work alright.
