I'm currently working on a PSA that uses a lot of animations swaps through BrawlBox.  It's pretty cool so far. ^^

Hey what do you know? Game & Watch loudly scolded me for replacing Snake with the Naked Snake Brawl trophy.

But seriously, a game&watch moveset would be nice. Even if it just changes what the numbers of Judgement do, it would be cool.

ASH is a bit more friendly with the CMPR format textures though.  Of course, that's basically all that it's good for until BrawlBox is updated to not have the CMPR textures get messed up too much.

Eh, BrawlBox still sucks at fixing mipmaps, and CMPRs.

It mipmapped Sonic's eyes completely red, and ruined his eye (this is 0.59 I'm talking about).

You may have to use SmashBox v0.57 to deal with the indexed textures.  I had that same problem when I was doing some of my enemy textures.  And of course, you can turn to ASH to deal with the CMPR format textures.  However, I have noticed that textures that have a LevelOfDetail of 3 tend to give ASH step 2 some problems.

Same problem. CMPR messed up, and a mipmap issue. Shame, ASH 2.3 gives me the same problem

    Sigh.

Some people are pretty unfortunate.  It stinks even more that you can't change the texture format of the texture parts, since that leads to freezing issues.

I thought that .59 fixed the CMPR problem?

I thought that .59 fixed the CMPR problem?

It does a better job with the CMPR format textures than the older versions of SmashBox.  Still, you may have to use ASH to ensure that those textures aren't too messed up.

Hint: You can create a new archive, and place the CMPR format textures that you want to edit in it.  Then, you can use ASH to edit them.  Afterwards, export the edited texture parts as TEX0 files, and use those files to replace the correct texture parts.  Just make sure that the FileId for the BRRES file is -1, and not compressed, or else ASH step 1 will not recognize it.
