meh. i need a better model. i have a good one, but for some reason the eyes dont export correctly Ezio put on delay until i get better at this rigging stuff Im sorry but you will have to stick with the vertex as even if you get a good model you will not be able to make it translucent without brawls rendering bug kicking in long story short parts of his body and sometimes the entire thing will turn invisible and object's will render in FRONT of it a vanilla example of this is olimar's helmet *all pallets* I am still trying to find a way to have transparency without this happening but for now model importing is out of the question as it will not fix it*it is a rendering bug*

hate these DX models.. the way their polygons are made in segments suck. the animations cause holes to appear in their joints when they bend

What Nanobuds said, they have serious issues, their body parts are everywhere and their folded up and they give serious headaches to people. >.>

you know, you can vertex weld the problematic polys before you rig to prevent the holes. jus saiyan. cant wait to see what the suprise it.

Nanobuds I tried rigging chaos 0 at one point and I rigged him but I deleted part of him so I just quit but the easiest way to fix your problem is to attatch all the polygons that use the same texture. Attatch all his water polygons together. It will work.

ill work on chaos later. for now... im doin knuckles over lucario. his rig is 95% complete.. except for a few problems.. polygon is rigged to shoulder bone: rotate the bone, it wont move with it. and this error message when i export. While reading or writing a file the following notifications have been raised. -Warning: Null not supported by COLLADA. Node RKneeJ will lose its geometric information. The node transforms will be saved. -Warning: Null not supported by COLLADA. Node RFootJ will lose its geometric information. Did you add those bones to any of the skin modifiers? It'll usually say something about losing geometric info if those bones weren't in any of those.
