Bad news. Yoko's NodeMix (where all the weights for vertices are stored) is
still a whopping 140,992 bytes after reducing the vertex count by a [censored] ton, and the overall facepoint count is still about 112,000. Those counts are
way too high for Brawl to handle.
I moved the vertex count modifier below the skin modifier so that it wasn't removed on export, so the model was still optimized when I imported it.
I think I'll have to clear my rig, optimize the model as much as possible
first, and then rig it again. :/ It sucks, but it won't stop me. >:O
I'm not going to delete my original rig max file though, just in case I figure out another solution.
