I think you just keeping shotting out your ram. Didn't you say you had only 538 mbs of ram or something, or your processor is screwed? Either way, it sucks you had it happen again and you didn't backup anything again. I know it's a bad time to ask but how far did you get working on Roll?

Ironically I was plaining on release about three hacks that day it crashed. Roll, Frank, and Megaman Trigger. Sadly they will not happen for a long time if ever And I don't recall ever taking about my ram o-o

Heres the deal. My warranties still good, but im losing all my files again. When I get my computer back im going to try and make pacman's stage and snorlax again. After that im out, ill be here only to download, and maybe do a new hack every couple of months, just to keep myself fresh, but thats about it. I'm dropping everything else until I find myself a stable computer for this kind of stuff, and the money needed (which is going to be never). Ill still visit the forms often and stay on msn so yeah o-o

You know the box unit you have for your PC, most likely? What computer do you have, what model?

when you send it to fix you could always request the place you will send your pc so they could backup some files on a usb atleast i always asked that when i had to formate my pc

Well, I asked my dad about this and I have another question: Do you have another computer in the house anywhere or have a friend who has a computer similar to yours. He just gave me an interesting idea you could try.

It basically involves taking your hard-drive / startup drive and turn it into a storage device in order to transfer the files to another computer.

sadly no. The only one I can think of is my old acer, which is half dead itself. Though it might work if it can be any computer.

My dad told me it can be any computer. Though personally I would recommend finding a friend who has a computer who'd be willing to let you do that. If failing that, I would recommend sending the files on the drive to your Acer until your Pavilion is fixed so you don't lose your hacking materials.
