That's to explain away it's fur-less appearance in the games. It's hard for me to really explain it in words...Since not many animals I can think of have the kind of fur I am thinking of... |

-That's only because that's Pikachu's iconic appearance, same with Mewtwo. That also has to do with the limitations of his texture due to the way he was mapped UV-wise. It wouldn't be overly-detailed if the fur texture is subtle enough. I just need to figure out what kind of fur I'm thinking of: I know what it is, but at the same time, I don't know exactly what it is. |

try playing around with noise and unfocus (or however it's called), that may achieve the effect ur thinking of |

I just played around in photoshop...here's what I got.  I'm not exactly sure that this is it, I'll keep experimenting. |

i think for mewtwo it should be even softer, and a bit darker, the pink looks too pink...
also, dont forget it IS a pokemon, making him too detailed will proably ruin the poke feeling...

Yes and yes, both will be done... a little later, sorry ^///^¡ I'm not sure if I should release Mewtwo... I mean, It feels like a shadow hack, only the normals were fixed and some blind spots in the rigging but not much to say that it's completly revamped... what do you guys think? (I haven't even send the textures to velen lol) Onto other things, Masked DDD is coming along nicely (no previews jet), and I made this Is it ok for CSP standards? Let me know... More news tomorrow  |
