You used the brawl hands right? If so then he might be referring to where the two halves meet each other.
I make YouTube videos, SM64 hacks, Brawl Hacks (obviously), NSMBW hacks, and GoldenEye 007 Mods. I also have a short attention span and tend to switch around a lot and put things on hold. But when I do finish things, 95% of the time I gave 120% effort, the other 5% of the time I give 100% effort.

for the hand i think it depend just a of the light in the stages because on this picture the hand color seems perfect shader... http://i.imgur.com/lVNN2zW.jpg

i was custom making a full model, although i gotta say it doesnt look as good as it should xD

I'm sure with a bit more time it will shape up. If I was able to guess what it was with that much of the model done, you aren't doing that bad.

problem isnt the sword, swords tend to be rather simple to make, it's more about the complex designs the character has...

The complex design of the character? I don't want to stray off into a topic I have no knowledge of since this is a workshop thread. It seems I'm unfamiliar with how custom models and imports work. I normally just lurk, so excuse me if I don't understand completely. It really is a nice job on Jin's sword though. As I said before, I'm sure it will shape out better after you have figured out what needs to be done.
