85% done now, will include sword version and hidden blade version. filesize is almost defeated, i will prevail! still need to rig the sashes, fix the hood up, rig the fingers/hands, and then he should be set.  |

I know for a fact that the vast majority of the public here cares more about free products than actual quality. I mean, we're kinda modding an old Wii game after like 6 years, instead of buying new stuff. That's pretty telling.  |

I hated using DasDonkey Vertex Box, man it took forever to make my Luigi Mario vertex, which I could actually make better now that I can edit Brawl Models without losing the rig, but I still think it was good for a first vertex (and my only one). lol
You must be referring to 3DS MAX there. It's a shame that it isn't free. |

I played around with import settings. Got better normals, got the model to be a single mesh, and I can safely use the ProOptimizer.  This was done by moving verts around. I have room for some faces, but I cannot do all of Snake's faces on him. |
