    hey King...

    I found a way to give Snake a 1-slot working cape... i think.

    Boygos is rigging his batman model to it. If it works, I'll send you the bone set for yours
    ^^this.
    maybe you guys could experiment by
    1. cloning bones,
    2. renaming the bones
    3. positioning them like marth's, ganon's or ikes,
    4. rigging the cape
    5. and then transfering animations from the character who has a cape with the replace all tool from brawlbox

    maybe you guys could experiment by

    I'm pretty sure that's not going to work. capes are animated by physics not the animations themselves

    Huh, I didn't know the game physics is what animates capes. Does the game just detect the cape bones specifically for MetaKnight, Ike, and Ganondorf and automatically move them around or something?

    Anyway, I made some progress with Cole Macgrath. Check the OP for a preview. Expect him to be released before the end of this week. Next, I'll probably start working on my entry to Boygos's Pokemon contest. I'm thinking about importing Gallade over either Sheik or Link, but I don't have a model of Gallade.

    On another note, I thought I'd found a good source of Skyrim models:
    Skyrim Armor 3D models Pack Giveaway

    but all the models turn out really deformed on my 3DS Max. I really got my hopes up on importing Skyrim models. I'm hoping now somebody here can get me some models so I can import what resembles the Dragonborn that you see on the title menu when you load up the game.

    Also I didn't texture Cole myself, I just fixed them since the colors were all wrong

    just what I expected. use noesis to import the obj then export it as another obj and everything should work fine

    It's a program used to get models from a large number of games. It's one of my main tools for getting models

    Alright, I got it! Thanks, Demon! Don't know why there's a second helmet, and I'm not sure how to get rid of that since both helmets are the same polygon, but I'm not sure if I want this particular armor anyway. lol

    The person gave a lot of models, so I don't think I'll be needing you to rip from Skyrim anymore, Demonboy. Hope this takes some of the load off your shoulders.

    alright then. and about getting rid of the second helmet..

    remember the select element option under edit mesh? you can use that to select what you don't want and delete it.

    Ah, ok I can do that. I would've probably tried to find a model of the helmet just by itself, or I might have tried to use the edit mesh mod to fuse the two helmets together since they line up perfectly, but your way is better. lol

    ^ Thanks, and I'm not sure if it's wifi safe. It's only an import, not a PSA, so it won't affect gameplay if that's what you're asking.

    For my next project, I'll be importing the Dragonborn, hero of Skyrim. Any Elder Scrolls fans here? There's a ton of different armors and face models, but I want the Dragonborn to resemble the concept art:

    I haven't decided who I'll import him over yet. I may add a poll for that later, but I'm leaning towards Link atm because Ike, Falcon, and Marth have enough imports already imo, and I still have a few slots left for Link. Also, I'm a huge Zelda fan, and when I played Skyrim (my first Elder Scrolls game), it kinda reminded me of an alt. version of Zelda but with more dungeons of lower quality and a different combat system. In Skyrim, you can use swords, shields, and the bow, just like Link; another reason I'm leaning more towards Link.
