Author Topic: Problem with stage hacks not working  (Read 3037 times)

I'm having trouble getting some of the stages to work. Normal just-textures work fine, but ImportModelTexture stages don't work for me, eg: http://oi41.tinypic.com/zilhef.jpg
This doesn't work for me when I try and load it. Here is what I do step by step:
1. Load Gecko OS from Homebrew Channel
2. Load game (Brawl disc in)
3. Brawl (Minus, if that matters) loads up
4. I load up either Training mode or the multiplayer mode
5. Select the characters
6. Select the stage (in this case, Corneria)
At this point, the game freezes, and most of the times a beeping/buzzing sound comes with it.
Any help or advice to get ImportModelTexture stages to work?

    You must have some other codes that's causing it to freeze

    Thanks. Do you perhaps know what kind of codes would make these stages freeze? The only codes I have are the ones given to you in the Brawl Minus package.

    Could just be that it's over the wrong stage, or you might need a .rel if it came with one when you downloaded it.

    Well the download didn't come with a rel file... Can I see what codes you are using?

    You also need to consider the file size of your stage hack.  While stage .pac files aren't compressed, their archives are compressed.  Therefore, you need to make sure that your stage .pac file uses less memory than normal when using Ocarina codes.
