I really like how this samus is going so far, but in my opinion you should make a non visible samus head on visor version, with this youll have more space for the FS gun, or if you have tons of polys/objects you can merge some which shares the same texture to gain more filesize for the visible samus version.
Remember tons of polygons/objects in BB makes bigger filesize.
But still im looking forward to samus ;D

I will make sure to do all of those things but first am working on the one with the head model to see how far I can take it. I plan to make both of them the same in all areas with the exception of the head model.

that's due to the rigging, I haven't completed it yet. what's suppose to be there is there it's just needs proper rigging, I am switching through max and my game to test it.

when I first started the model went way over filesize, 3000+. managed to get it a little over 1000. so I am limiting and getting rid of things that won't be seen.

after I am finished getting rid of and limiting these things I will save it as a backup to replace the textures, shaders, and material of the new one when I complete the rig.

i can't see your image but if you are talking about this one then hopefully yes, i have the model and is using the head, hair and communicator over the original other m zss model for the outfit i showed. my first time importing the outfit above she was way over filesize just like both of the zss models, but i manage to get them low and keep their quality. i plan on doing the same for the outfit above. if i can keep her quality and lower her filesize then she will also be imported.

sorry for the pic sizes i am using my wii u. i have a question though for anyone that may be interested in varia suit. do you think i should keep it as it is or give it more detail like the wii u version. if i give it the wii u version look there are three options applying to the legs and shoulder pads.

(1) i can get rid of the glow and lights on the legs and shoulders to add the vents and shape the areas like the wii u version. this will make it look exactly like wii u version with differences being that they are different models.

(2) i can keep the lights/glow and just shape the suit like the wii u version. so instead of having vents it will glow in those areas.

(3) make it look like the wii u version with a glow/light effect under the vents.

all version will have the detail and include vents added to the chest and stomach area like the wii u version, but only if anyone would prefer a wii u look over the current look. for those that need pics of the two

This way people could choose which one they like the best when downloading your hack.
