I was wondering if we can make it simpler to look through each other's vaults much easier, especially if you try to find something specific besides using the main vault's advance search bars.
Here's my idea:
You know how you can create folders on your computer to keep track of all your stuff like PSAs, models, or making a playlist of BRSTMs.
For BrawlVault though, what would happen if we have the option to create sections for your hacks in this website.
For Example: I have over 100 BRSTMs in my Vault, the majority of them is Vocaloid music. So I want to make a playlist of all my Vocaloid BRSTMs and another playlist for my other BRSTMs so I can easily tell which is which. Not only that but I want to make a playlist w/in a playlist, just in case if someone is looking for a specific source like Miku, Luka, etc. but the playlist must exactly match within the named sources or it will be just...there.
As for other Brawl hacks such as characters, stages, items, etc. they'll have their own individual sections, but only BRSTMs can have playlists w/in playlists, nothing else.
Please reply to this post for feedback.

I think it would be cool if the vault had 3 folders in the character page of the vault. It should include Music (brstm's and SFX), Models and vertexes and what not, and then a folder for all projects that include a fit motion (Psa's). Much easier access to what your looking for and then there is still the view all button of course

Then this can also be a potential brawl hack storage site for public use. Now if only I knew who created this website to look at this post.

And that's why you just download stuff and save them on your PC/SD. We provide users with the option of submitting mods to the Vault.
I don't consider it viable to also provide users with the option of saving said submitted mods' links into their own personal Storage.

Are you talking about a filter in the vault where you can browse the hacks you want without trouble?

So you mean besides having "Alphabetical, Newly Added and Top Dowloads" also have additional options to filter "Characters, Stages, Music and Misc"?

I see the idea here taking shape. Let me introduce a separate but related idea:
As a general 'downloader' (and not necessarily a mass hack creator) would it be helpful to create a "Favorites" list that you can compile and share with others? I often come back into the Vault, hunting for that one hack I can't exactly remember. If I had a list of hacks that I had marked as my "favorite", perhaps scrolling through my list of favorites would be convenient.
Anyone else have an opinion on the matter?

That will be totally cool to have a your own favorites list, that way you don't have to go through all the hassle of searching for one's favorite hack(s).
Great Idea. Keep your idea and my idea intact.

I do not see it taking shape, as the Vault creator faded, leaving Vyse on the job, and Vyse being too busy with other stuff. I don't think it's a good idea to pitch things publicly and even suggest more giving the impression that they can be done, when at the moment, they can't.
Just wanting to say, in resume, to the users: Don't get your hopes up. There's too much to do first as re-making the Vault and fixing every usual bug, among other things, for this to even be considered.

I guess I can't argue there. But still, it can work, though.

The alphabetical filter is pretty much b/s. I personally have given up on finding brstms on this site. It's much faster just to make one... All these ideas seem good to me.
