So basically I have a ISO that I can use to replace any PSA and other stuff with all files I choose but with all these issues I run into like loading the Flame Orbitar Pit onto my game I get a freeze on my game but are all errors the same from disc to ISO of Brawl? If so then should I report the issue?

you shouldnt replace stuff in the iso just use a filepatch code and it works perfectly

For a normal Wii, yeah. like you said, you need the file patch code, but if for instance one was to run the altered ISO in Dolphin, the file patch code freezes doesn't work at all on the emulator. In that instance, you replace the files and then recompile the ISO image Wink  Heck, replacing the files permanently/swapping them out I though would be better in the long run since you wouldn't need to use cheat codes to replace the files Tongue

Oh god.... So the chances ever getting something to work on the ISO was a 50% chance of also getting a frozen game? Man I wish a working disc drive so thats no fun wondering whether Im going to get a frozen game at any random moment, the fact that Ive been getting really lucky loading some PSAs and modified stages is really some luck there. Well I would to thank that guy for moving this thread over here because god I wouldnt know where to go for a proper question asking and then also thanks to you guys for letting me know the proper reason for why its better on the disc drive than a ISO emulator. Truth be told I already got so much stuff placed into the ISO I have but Ill admit some of these days Ive had werent successful.

there is nothing wrong when using an iso i use an iso of ssbb trough usbloader gx and load the hacks trough the sd card, and most ppl here do the same, barely anyone actually uses the original brawl disc anymore

Well the real issue is when Im loading one PSA from one maker  and then another PSA someone else made. Sometimes they work and then sometimes I get some sort of error which is something I want to avoid.
    Its for something like this

Hmm, it would help if you could be more descriptive of like when the game freezes and maybe give a few more examples to what froze you and what didn't.

First, I can tell you there's definitely no issue with using wiiscrubber to replace files in the iso, and there's none of this '% chance of it working' dealy.

Err, what comes to mind to me with what you're talking about is how I was mistakenly using a pal iso instead of an ntsc one. Hacks that required a .rel file replacement for a character only usually work on NTSC games. So, I would find that, for instance, Naruto over G&W would freeze the game, but cloud over ike would not. The reason was G&W has a .rel file to replace while ike does not.

The thing is though I don't think flame orbitar pit requires a .rel replacement unless he's not going over pit so... yeah..

I think more people use the disc then don't, but I guess I might be wrong.

I know for a fact that the vast majority of the public here cares more about free products than actual quality.
I mean, we're kinda modding an old Wii game after like 6 years, instead of buying new stuff. That's pretty telling. Tongue

I think the most I get a frozen game is when I get the kind of PSAs with codes, textures and the ISO ver. I have is a NTSC ver. Were the game freezes is at the character select when I place the player patch on let's say Pit and then the game freezes there or continuing on the stage selection and the game freezes there too. The most the game freezes from is when the whole controller cant move anything anymore or the least of freezing is when the game freezes and makes that buzzing sound.
