So, I know I have a lot of stuff going, however, I've been wanting to do an HD Yoshi's 64 for a while and I figured I'd do another 64 Stage while I'm at it. HD means completely remade texture, because you can't really make 8 bit texture "HD". This is the moving platform on the right of Planet Zebes 64. Enjoy

P.S. I'm doing this for this thread here -

This is pretty funny actually, because I too was planning to do an HD version of Planet Zebes.

But I have a creeping feeling your textures will be infinitely better than mine. Godspeed, friend.

Thanks! Funnily enough this shouldn't take more than a few days to do, I did this last night and this morning. I might even be able to release it this Monday If I can keep up pace.

I apologize if this comes off as too forward, but I'd love to learn a few things from you. Texturing is fairly fun and I'd like to expand my horizons in terms of what I know about Brawl modding.

No, it's fine I'm just going to need to know what areas you need tips on. Specific things you want to know. I've been using photoshop for about five years, so I've learned a few trick. I can't really "teach" you how to make textures, because that is something you just kind of learn. I can, however, show you a little bit of my process so that you can see how I make something. Does that sound cool?

You know, I think that'd be a better idea. Of course that can only go according to your schedule. If anything shoot me a PM whenever, unless you plan to share in this thread.

Update Time! So I'm working on two HD 64 stages and I wanted to post I pic of how Yoshi's story is going. Yes, I know Theyta already made an HD Yoshi's, however, his is an altered stage and he didn't remake the fruit tree.

This is great. Is it the one by Mewtwo2000 or?

    It's the one from Project M 3.6, so I thinks it's.

Dang, I didn't even think about PAL users. Would you be willing to test out PM's Yoshi's if I send you just that one stage (so you don't have to download Project M 3.6 in its entirety)? I wouldn't want PAL users to get left out.

Update Time! Yoshi's Story 64 HD is progressing nicely, after I had an issue that took an entire day to fix. The transparency wouldn't display properly on anything except the Fruit tree, the heart had weird semitransparent artifacts all around the edge. I think the problem was that the material was set to "Destination Alpha" instead of "Source Alpha", whatever that means.

Update Time! Note to anyone who might read this... if you ever want to make seamless horizontal lines... DON'T!
Just a small update to show the new floor and a little bit of work I got done on the hook latch. Hopefully I'll get this done soon so I can work on some other stuff.

hey! i just wanted to come around and say your texture work is really great! i especially love the spec and lighting maps you've added. the glow on samus and zss looks great and peach's shimmering gold embroidery is gorgeous

also, i can't wait to see how your HD stages turn out! i've been trying an HD smashville style stage but it's not really coming along because i don't actually have enough motivation to retexture everything, haha... but anyway, yeah! keep being awesome, i'll be following along for sure!
