hm. i'll look into it. would be a good way for me to learn about animating moving objects w/ collisions. OH OH OH! i could make DL64 next and then use the base from that as a lead in to this. so many ideas....

Great job on the SSB intro stage, can't wait to try it out.
EDIT: I feel like you should point out that putting this over Final Destination does not end well at all.

Yeah, I just figured that was for the convenience of the downloader, not that it was necessary. It's a really great stage btw.
That debug stage would be hilarious.

well, the original intention was for convenience, but a secondary goal was to bypass the slight problems with it when run directly on FD (mainly the light under the desk/star animation).
if there was anything else, i didn't see it during my testing.
that debug stage would be fun. but i could get DL64 out faster following the same initial path.

You can get rid of the glow/stars by replacing... um, I think it was the effect file or something. It's been a while since I edited FD, but it's an easy fix. Would you be able to add the wind to Dreamland?

i'd probably use green greens as a base when i do make DL64. then for the kirby stage i'de copy over all of the models and start fresh on FD.
and i'll look into removing the effect file.

if there was anything else, i didn't see it during my testing. The camera is way messed up to the point that you can't see the top of the floating rock or anything even slightly off the sides of the desk.

the camera should be the same regardless of the rel.
i know that i did make the camera/boundaries pretty close to the sides, but you should be able to stand on the top platform without any problems.

You can when it's ported over Mario Bros., but on Final, when you're on top of the rock you're offscreen in the little circle, and you pretty much can't be off stage without being off screen. It's very strange, I can't imagine why it would be like that but it is.
