then it has nothing to do with perfectionism, but plain... seriously, moving the bones around in 3ds max is an absolute necesity for a good rig, because you can actually test the rig before exporting, which will save you a lot of time...
also, press the "auto-key" button and rotate the bones on any frame except 0 so it won't affect your T-pose ever. ^ Yup, that's the best way to test the rig.

It's not much right now, but it's getting there... slowly. Hope I'll get it done by tomorrow, though that's unlikely.

Can't be seen here, but some of the small stars do have faces. Also the background is just color from the render, not a skybox, not sure if I want a starry sky or a plain blue one like in the game. Hey neat! I loved Mario RPG, and this'll go well with the Geno PSA out there. *raises flameshield* I always found SMRPG and especially Geno to be overrated. *lowers flameshield* It's still an enjoyable game though and both, Star Hill and Smithy's Factory were pretty memorable places to me. Also it features Bowser throwing Mario for once.

Oh that's what she meant. I don't rotate the bones in 3ds Max because sometimes it bugs and doesn't switch between the rotate/scale/move/select tools when I click on them. I export and then test the rig in BB instead because I don't want to accidently mess up the bones because 3ds Max doesn't switch tools. I had misread her comment and thought it was something completely different. In the long run, rotating the bones in 3ds Max probably saves time, but if I mess up and move or scale a bone and don't notice it (like I barely moved/scaled the bone before switching back to rotate) then that causes the model to be useless and have to start over. That doesn't happen often, but I'd rather play it safe and not have to worry about killing the boneset.

I make YouTube videos, SM64 hacks, Brawl Hacks (obviously), NSMBW hacks, and GoldenEye 007 Mods. I also have a short attention span and tend to switch around a lot and put things on hold. But when I do finish things, 95% of the time I gave 120% effort, the other 5% of the time I give 100% effort.

*refuses to flame you* I love the game, but I agree with Geno. And his support for Smash titles is absurd in my eyes.

I'm getting near to finishing Goku's rig, but because of a lack of SSJ3 and SSJ4, I've had to put him on hold for a bit. But I have another model and I'm sure it's gonna be awesome when I finish it

Whoa, I think you mean Goku. Mewtwo is loved due to his movie appearance and Melee. We don't hold him thaf high. We just want him back in Smash bros. Geno and Goku don't really have a chance. Shadow doesn't either. Waluigi should of had a chance...

We don't hold him thaf high. That's a matter of opinion Goku was a project I took because I found a nice model and I had a bunch of cool ideas for moves to make.

There's always DLC, but I'm personally not a big fan of Mewtwo, blaspheme, I know.

Besides, Geno is owned by Square Enix.
Why do they even still own the SMRPG characters? Unless I'm mistaken, they haven't used them besides Geno making a cameo in M&L: SuperStar Saga, so why doesn't Nintendo buy the rights? I feel like the 3ds would be a great system to have a SMRPG remake or sequel, the 3D would help with the depth perception. lol

Or the Wii U lol. And correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't they originally owned by Square, then the company went out of buisness?

That does sound familiar, all I know for sure is that Nintendo needs to get the rights, would be nice to see Geno or Mallow as playable DLCs. Course I would also like to see Waluigi as a playable DLC, but none of these will happen.
