Awesome! Keep us updated on any other things that you find in the Project M code! I feel like if we can pull all of the codes out that deal with the mechanics and physics of the game, then maybe we can just put together our own version of Project M that works about the same, but without the restrictions!

So I have taken some of the codes from both of the code sets that you guys have provided, and I have made my first adaptation of the Project M codes for brawl. It isn't much at the moment, but this is what I have. I have it so that the air dodge, dash dance, shields, and wavedashing mechanics are all working in brawl. And I have tested it and it seems to work fine with the clones. But I have only one problem with it... The king of wavedashing, Luigi, is not able to wavedash!!!!! I don't know why, and I haven't experimented with it much, but at the moment it is very disappointing.

I always wanted characters like Lucina,etc to join Project M without having to replace any of the characters. They just have so much potential. And I hope you soon find the problem to Luigi's wavedashing. Also you mind posting a vid of your progress so far? Thanks!

So I have taken those 39 codes and put them into their own gct. I also removed all of the CSS related items. I added that set of codes to my current working BrawlEx set of codes. (I am using Nebulons pack.) It appears to load normally, but then after the strap loader screen it freezes where the intro film should be played; leaving a blank white screen. Anyone know why this normally happens?

I don't know if it is brawlex, or something else. It didn't even make it close to getting to the CSS, so I didn't think that it could be that. I know Project M had a custom intro video, so maybe it is trying to boot up that video, but it can't find it on my SDcard... I am going to add the codes more strategically now so as to get an idea of what works, and what doesn't. One code at a time... Post Merge: March 24, 2014, 04:48:10 PM
MachWindEX I updated the OP so now there is a link to your code list for everyone to use.

Ya that's the plan. Adding each code individually until either they all work, or I find one that doesn't work. I will slowly be going threw that process throughout this week (cause for some reason the give us homework in school...) and I will update with anything that I find. I don't think I am going to count any minor ones that I know work, such as the pause cameras or tags. I'm only going to be doing the main game play changing codes, because those are really the only ones I am concerned about. The little ones can come later. ;P I'll do a video later on this week. I did mess with the filepatch codes, and it kept freezing.

@MachWindEX
What exactly is the Data Index that is in the list of codes? What does it do? What is it for? Why?
Post Merge: March 24, 2014, 06:09:51 PM And do you think that it matters what fpc is used? Whether it is the Project M, or just the normal?
Cause if I remember correctly from when I was messing with it before; It is the same fpc that I already had in my gct.

I dont know what the data index actually does but i thought it was an important code so i added it I think the fpc dont think the fpc actually matters also the fpc project m has is slightly different and i updated the txt so it has 45 codes now it has the hitstun, powershield window, and walljump frame codes now Im done looking through the code for today so if u have anything to ask ill answer
Post Merge: March 24, 2014, 06:18:18 PM also i think data index is important because anything data related is usually important so if it doesnt freeze brawl ex keep the code just in case
