    Houston, we have a problem...The sfx files for Samus appear to be encrypted and I'm not sure how to decrypt them.  I have some sound files that I've converted, but Samus' main sounds seem to be all within one file that I'm not sure how to crack.  I can get any of her voice files from cutscenes, however so I suppose it's not a huge problem, but there I have to deal with sound editing in audacity to filter out environmental sounds.  Damn Adam has a blue million voice files right there and ready to change over, but they have to be sneaky and encrypt Samus' files... >_>

    Edit: I posted on XeNTax forums so hopefully someone there will know how to access them, unless there's someone on the boards that could help.

    I'm ok with sounds ripped from videos though.

    The texture is far enough along for a preview I suppose.





    Nothing seen here is final right now. I still have lots of shading and moving around to do. I also need to move a ton of vertices around especially on the hips and legs.

    It's going pretty well so far. With the siro/ref it should look good in-game right now. I'm going to use the refs from Other M so it should look even better.

    Powersuit is going to be the default texture I guess. I'll also do Varia and attempt OtherM's version of Gravity. Those of you wanting to do recolors keep in mind that you should do all of her Brawl costumes colors (including the normal old purple Gravity suit colors which would probably look nice with this model) as well as any random color combinations you'd like to make.

Not sure, otherwise, maybe you could, like, go to some kind of soundtest (if there is one) and record them, that's what I did for ginyu, just got dragonballz budokai tenkaichi 2 and just recorded his voices from the game, don't know if you can record it, but its real easy so, if you can't get the files on the ISO to work, you could  try recording them

    So I started trying out the refs and such today.

    At first I ended up with this:

    MARSHMELLOW SAMUS V1

    So I changed the refs around, replacing the siro with Samus's default texture.
    Then I had...

    SLIGHTLY LESS MARSHMELLOW SAMUS V1

    So then I replaced all of those with Samus's default textures and ended up with......



    So I won't be using Other M's refs/siro/environment textures lol.

    Surprisingly, in Norfair the texture already looks pretty much perfect.
    Looks like I'll be shading it with Red/orange.

    Can someone try this out? though Gamma has the most recent motionetc file. So either wait for him or test this out with weird attacks.

    At the same time, could someone test the Final Smash? I tried making some changes to stop Samus from Turning into Zero Suit. And Z-air. Test that out too.

    xZed, you go ahead and test Blade's newest .pac right now, since I can't at the moment.

    If it's still too large, I'll consult with DO to see what the easiest way to lower the file size would be.

    And Weyard, the model looks perfect. :]

    Can't wait to see what kind of recolors are made.

    As for the SFX issue, don't worry about it too much. It's not as important at the moment.
