Ya! Thank you! This is it. Why is this program not in the resources section of Brawl Vault? It really should be. Please add this to resources, someone who has the ability to do so.
I haven't brawl modded in a while and when I did I used a stage rel converter tool that was available for download on here and I can't find it anywhere, not even by searching. The only one I could find is a website and I don't want a website, I want the program I used to do the same thing. Can anyone please provide me a link to such a program or tell me what it may be called?
I don't think it would be an actual texture that you edit like you did to the Captain Falcon one. It would most likely be something like a CLR0 file that you edit the hex number for color for and not an actual texture. I actually have no idea. But I don't think it'll be a texture. Maybe try hexing the article?
I was really hoping this wldnt b wat i had to do, but i think your right. Looks like i get to hex edit through files within the MotionEct. and Fit(insert character here).pac's =/
1) This belongs in the A/A Help Section 2) I only know that unique GFX (like Mario's Fireball) are editable in the MotionEtc. Open it with BrawlBox, look for the fire, and then recolor it (photo editing)
Thanks for your responce. Im almost positive MotionEtc. does not contain the colors. i Searched and searched within it and found nothing. However i looked at FitCaptain.pac and it did contain an image of fire which i changed to blue (in hopes it wld change his fire from his B move to blue and the rest of the fire on him to blue) by simply exporting the image recoloring it, and importing it in. However that did nothing even though i clearly changed the color.
I then decided to open up FitCaptan.pac in SmashAttacks, found my B move, saw the GFX colors: (red: FF, green: 64, and blue: 00) i also found another line in the B move tht contained very simmular but different color numbers. I changed them around and nothing happened at all.
Im starting to assume that it is very diffucult to change the colors of GFX and its something i havent seen done so im not sure if any one even knows how. However I do know you can just change the effect of the animation, example: (mario's fireball to electricity) because i have seen the done countless times.
Hello, i need to know if its possible to edit the GFX colors of character's moves, for example: making mario's fireball blue. Ive tried doing it in SmashAttacks! but im not sure how or if its even possible. Can someone please help me?
I would like to know how to remove certain aspects of maps. For example, how would u remove that thing on Pirate Ship that launches u into the air when u walk over it? How would I go about doing things like this (how to recognize changing objects and how to remove them using brawl box)?
This is really strange, for some reason homebrew is missing from my wii. I have all the files on my SD card (GeckOS, all of my brawl hacks, etc.) so I just need a way to download the channel again.
at the top of the help section there is a guide called: "The Complete N00B's Guide to Brawl Hacking" that will explain everything. The step for installing homebrew is at the beginning of the guide.
that sounds like a texture error, try to figure out which model is causing it by removing 1 at a time, then when you've found it, import its texture in a different format, and before that, make sure you have all the textures you need named correctly.
The thing is all 3 objects only use 2 textures and they r all using the same 2 textures. I checked and everything is named correctly. the only thing i can think of is somehow the coordinates on 1 of the objects is somehow messing the texture up or something? 2 of the objects r exactly the same and 1 of them is different. the 2 that r the same r fine, but the 1 tht is different is not showing up.
edit:
it cld also b the animation file i added tht has all of their bones. This file has properties: FrameCount and Unknown1-3. I am not sure wat to put for these
I have created 3 objects in the background in my map and 1 animation file that has each of their bones in (I'm stating this because I am new to this and need to make sure I am doin it right.) In the preview in brawl box everything looks normal, in game only 2/3 of my objects r there and when I test the map w/ a bot, a huge line of color spreads across my screen when the bot is moving for a seccond and then the bot dies, the color goes away, and the whole color glitch thing repeats until the game is over. I have no idea wat is going on, can someone please help me?
I basicly want to know how i can have my own custom verticies for an mld0. I was searching up how to do this and didnt find an exact answer, but found some helpfull information. From wat i read u can edit the verticies of some other file type in a vertex editing program (like anim8tor) and then convert it into an mdl0 and then u do something else. but im not sure how i wld do this or if i am even close on how to do it. Can someone explain wat u wld do for this, like give me the steps on wat to do? By the way i NEED to know how to do this for a map object rather than charictor vertex editing (just saying this incase there is a difference in editing the verticies for each).
Whenever I put an mdl0 file into the background folder of battlfield it will load the object to the middle of the stage in game and not in the background like it's supposed to. I do know I am putting it in the right folder and in the preview of the stage it will show my mdl0 file in the background exactly were it should be so I don't understand y I wldnt b there in game. This is my first attempt at a stage hack. Can someone please help me?
Can someone explain to me or give me a link explaining how to create stage objects? for example, lets say i wanted to create a 3d house in the background. I have no idea how to do this. From wat i can tell (correct me if im wrong) in order to create an object its easiest to make it an mld0 file and give it the following folders: Definitions, Bones, Vertices, Normals, Colors, ect. Can someone tell me what goes in each of these folders / what they do and how i wld create some kind of object?
I downloaded Brawl+ and have been using it for a short while. After going through the files that consist of Brawl+ I noticed that there r CSPs (location: private\wii\app\RSBE\pf\menu\common\char_bust_tex\) but they r not loading for me in brawl. I was also wondering if other things werent working eaither like the CBPs but everything else does work. Its just the CSPs that came w/ Brawl+ that rnt working. I have even loaded in Gecko and Riivolution and neaither of them cause the CSPs to work. So i know that this can't b something i am doing wrong because everything i have for Brawl+ was given in a pre made pack. Can someone please help me?
