Tell me, where do you find those models with their respective texture maps? I've been all over the "Models Resource" but they just have color maps, and combining spec maps with colors isn't worth it.
Uh, those are the respective texture maps. Sorry man. See, that's how Sm4sh models are. It's actually a great thing in my opinion to have them be apart. It's easier to stylize your own texture depth.
What...why...when...I won't even begin to start on some of these hate comments. Sounds like they were written by butthurt 13 year olds. Anyway, love the smoothness of the model. It's cool to see original ideas of your own come to life. Proud of you for doing this. Forget those who hate this mod. Chances are, they are stuck on using someone else's mods with quick edits, poor texturing, or messy vert hacks, but I digress. Keep up the good work on your fox-deer hybrid character!
Can you really blame them Don Jon? Most people on the internet don' t know how to act and will willingly spread the exploit out of share enjoyment and "thinking of their fellow man" without thinking about it first. You have to remember that most modders are teenagers who do not think first before unintentionally screwing everyone over with the exploit. The Devs are playing the "Better safe than sorry" roll. Had to really trust anyone on the internet these days.
Here is my WIP. I'm trying to rig Pokémon Trainer's Clothes over Sonic but the rig doesn't look good. Is there anything I need to fix?
Iirc Sonic has no shoulder bones. On his shoulders, it's best to rig those vertex points as 75% LArm/RArm and 25% Bust. Make sure the sides of his shirt is rigged to "Bust" as well. Looks fine from the preview. Aim for more poses and then you'll be better assisted. Also, this should be in the "Model Help" section.
technicaly there is a kernel for 5.5.0 and 5.5.1 but the team will only release the kernel if its patched by nintendo in an upcoming update so yeah try to stay there with luck nintendo will patch it soon enough.
he's my apprentice... i've been teaching him the ways of smashu model importing and how to do the shaders right.. altho he beats me in stage lighting xD
"Out with the old, in with the new" is what I always say.
