its like wanting a slot for megaman, waluigi, ridley, pichu, dr mario, young link, and so on
*insert-overused-clichéd-emoticon* Sure. Absolutely. Totally related. What was I thinking. Those psa's made by one or handful of people definitely see the light of day on 200,000+ consoles. Making slots for Roy and M2 would create a slippery slope, and all of a sudden would open the door for every other edited boneset just as homosexual marriage rights opens the door to being able to marry a dog.
I've seen this suggested before only to be shot down by a bitter user, but Mewtwo and Roy should really get their own slots. This site needs more organization.
My latest submission's preview pictures aren't working. I noticed that only "direct links" are acceptable now, and yet there is no explanation regarding what that is or how to make one. The only hint provided was the link to imgur, but clearly didn't work as I made an account there and the pictures still won't show. On my submit page, it does say that the thumbnails were auto-generated.

I used to have a mediafire account containing all if not most of the brawl files bookmarked, but I can no longer access it. Without it, I am having trouble making textures as I can no longer use anything as a base. I also don't know how to obtain the files that contain result screen and in game portraits anymore.
They will have extra costumes, but I've only heard from an unreliable source that characters will have 7 slots, and in all of my builds, I only expand the wardrobe for about a third of the cast.
yarrrrr
Based on my own testing, and from what I'm hearing from others, P:M2.6b Bowser and cbliss are not compatible.
Tourney mode is never really used, so I'm doubtful anyone would bother testing for it.
Has anyone got this working with P:M2.6b? I had a functional 2.5b and 2.6 cbliss build, but I can't get Bowser's extra slots to work.
I used m22k's cbliss program, and imported miscdata 90 and 40 for selchr and selmap respectively, as well as the four "pat-selmapchr" files for selmap and a char_bust_tex from m22k that retains the brawl order of portraits.
Overall, I'd like to see either all of the necessary information on the op be included in the txt file in the download or vice versa. Setting up cbliss requires a large checklist, and bouncing back between one's browser and the notepad as a well as brawlbox and every thing else makes organization more difficult than it has to be.
Everything seems to work up until the announcer says "Go!" Once he says that, the stage itself disappears, leaving the characters to fall to their death. The background looks like it works, as the giant metroid dude thing is still in the background. I can get a screenshot next time I have a chance (which will probably be a little later tonight.)
I know this is off topic, but what's the advantage of Project M over Brawl+? Before a couple of weeks ago, it was a couple of years since I've played Brawl+, so I'm just curious.
Brawl+ pretty much grew into Project M, but Brawl+ had a different philosophy. It was meant to be a fun and fast paced version of brawl. It was never going to be melee 2.0. As it was the first brawl mod however, the team had organization issues, and the project crumbled, leaving polish and finalization yet to be completed. As Project M is a mod with an active development team, it means that it can achieve the greatest balance found in a smash game ever, even more than smash64.
brawl+ is very fun though.
quantitative facts that favour Project: M would be things like crew mode, buffer settings, and the purging of the input delay present in every other version of brawl.
I've never had a stage be visible and then disappear shortly after. "giant metroid dude"?
specifics are everything... are you playing on orpheon (with a parasite queen)? metroid laboratory? sounds like rel file issues, but I really don't know.
Libertyernie, no one is working on brawl+, brawl-, or balanced brawl anymore. However, those who played brawl+ most likely moved on to Project M, while brawl- set out with such a different attitude that it remains a distinct alternative to P:M.
And yes, as SSE Jungle is in P:M, it makes sense to have it both versions ( the more the merrier when it comes to versions/choices).
Bluenote, you have to be much much more specific when asking for help. Details are everything when diagnosing brawl mod issues. Does the background disappear? how long does the stage stay visible for?
Does Wario need slots filled if he already has 12 defaults?
I got P:M to work with cbliss, but I am having trouble getting a build with brawl- working. What is the difference between a silent and noisy freeze upon selecting a stage? and what is the problem if the stage loads but the game freezes during the first character's entry?
