Heres a small Tutorial about rigging models and someing the you my know by now or not
1 get your model in max
2 go to skin and go to edit envelopes
3 in there you will see someing called: select element turn it on and and this will happen

this will make it so that you select all the weights on that part of the model hope this helps everyone out Wink
