    You know it is possible to port models over other character, right?
    Anyway, nice vertex edits (never seen a female vertex for Ike before).

    What I mean is replacing the model of lets say Diddy Kong or Yoshi with the vertex of Lightning (like what I with Cloud Kong) and doing the moveset over that character.

    Well, I think I talked about it on the 4th page. I think the moves he left out were the Dair, Down B, and Up B, right? Those are the moves I talked about, like Cure for down B, remember?

    Also, if there's anything that you'd think would be cool, by all means, tell me! Cheesy
    Dair can be left the same, cuz it's cool Awesome Face

    UpB could be a teleport or something if you like.

    Well, Lightning never actually Teleports in the game, and we want this to stick as close as we can to basing the moves off the actual game, but I guess we could see how that could work. Could be some port of "Aero." It should have a little less distance than Zelda's teleport, but more than Sheik's. It needs to have as much start up lag as Sheik's too, remember, we don't want her to be an unfair/broken character.

    And ds22, yeah, I knew about that, but we've already got this going on Ike, I don't want to have to cause anyone anymore trouble than it should be

    Well I'm guessing it's not possible to port ZSS over Ike as a one slot, right? That would make life easier.

    Did you already start with the moveset then?
    I'm sorry, but it's just that both Naruto and Cloud are already over Ike and think it would be better if this was ported over another character due popularity reasons (Cloud mainly).

    And I understand what you mean. However, this isn't really for a popularity contest, its just for players who want Lightning, the most badass FF character ever, in Brawl. Wink

    It would be good if we could move it though. Would their be any problems porting it? And you know, you're the only one I know of that can do that.

    Well, first we need a character which we can replace (I suggest Diddy Kong).
    Next the bones with the values of the HipN bone and the TransN bone need to be named as such (I can do it for you if you want).
    To fix the animations from being weird (facing the screen etc.), we need to rename what was Ike's HipN bone to Hip2N (Cloud Kong's animations can be used as a temporary base and the animations already made need to be adjusted by renaming the HipN nodes to Hip2N).
    But like I said, I could do it for you if you want me to.

    Also, are you sure that if we port it, the Lightning model wouldn't become inanimate or do strange things?

    I just want to completely sure there's no risking how far we've come by doing this, you know what I mean?

    Also, how would I go about replacing Diddy Kong's voice with Lightning's? I've seen you need Riivolution for that. Is it complicated?

    Hollow, what exactly are you talking about porting Lightning? Her model? Or voice? Because we already have her actual model from the game she's in.

    She's from Final Fantasy XIII (13), for PS3 and XBox 360.

    personallly I find the hair REALLY hard to look at.

    Also I have never really tried this but how about replacing Ike's sword with wolfs blaster, retature it to look like her gun blade, then vertex it to its correct length? It would work out a lot better than her blade as of now. The only problem would be the file size, it will work fine with Riivolution but not with the file replacement code.

    If we do the porting now, we won't have to deal with the annoying process of porting all the collision data and countless fixings of data.
    And you would have a black sheet to create collisions.
    And since we also port over the animations (in this case we could temporarily use Cloud Kong's animations), she will move and act like normal.
    And I personally don't use Riivolution (I use USB-Loader with a modified ISO included the edited sound effects), I wouldn't know on how to use Riivolution (Sound effects are something to be done later or as last, since the process of doing them is hard).
