Aafyre, for some future vertices may I suggest making some hacks over Wario? Dat fat ass doesn't have a lot of good hacks. THIS LIST IS LONG BUT I MAY INSPIRE YOU ;)

Danny Devito, Mr. Magoo, Hiruko (Sasori's puppet), Elmer Fudd, one of the seven dwarves, Cartman, the kid from Up, TAZMANIAN FKING DEVIL (OMG GREAT IDEA), Oddjob from Goldeneye, Fat Buu, that fat eyeball guy from AHH! Real Monsters, Clefairy (lol), Mankey, Poliwhirl, Graveler, Marill, Quagsire, Granbull, Elekid, Makuhita, Loudred (Am I pokerambling?) Rampardos, Tangrowth and more.

These are just some random ideas from a rambling gambling American. =)

Well, it's certainly more than a mere texture hack, but if Aafyre wants to improve on Tidus, I'm positive that he can make a perfect version.

Jokekid is mostly right. The big piece is the main thing I work with, and I always used to put the others inside his head. However, recently I have also been using polygon 18 for the finer pieces of Hair. I did this for Lelouch and Orochimaru. I also used that same polygon for the scars on Zegram's face.

For the big hair piece, I always start by connecting all the vertices that would lead into his other hair pieces so that they come to a point instead of leaving gaps. And then there are actually two or three pieces on that same polygon that can be disconnected and placed inside his head if you don't need to use them.

That's what I've done, and I found this out by making Daeno (Avatar.)

His face/hair wasn't even touched, and those are actually part of the most important things to recognize a character. If i see his model without the textures, I wouldn't be able to say that's Tidus, hope you get what I mean.. lol
