joker, unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to get the Black Knight's textures to show up in 3dsmax. On top of that, he kept crashing the program every few minutes. This was basically made from scratch, though I took a couple peeks at your model. It helped me with a few things, like knowing to make his head a lot smaller.
Also, no guarantee on how well his crotch plate will turn out. I used that weird segmented part of Ganondorf's armor around his waist to make it, and I remember that looking strange on Darkrai before I got rid of it.

I believe it was his Path of Radiance model. I could have tried looking for his Brawl statue, because K. Rool's never crashed the program.

but the trophies arent T-posed... anyway, ive used a lot of models from models-resource, and it never crashed for me... kinda weird but hell, it came out great!

There is a very simple way to know what model of the black knight is used. If it is from Path of Radiance, the cape is completely red, if it is from Radiant Dawn, the inside of the cape is red, but the back of the cape is black. Like in this picture.

Alright, I've gotten pretty far on the vertex but I haven't started his texture yet. Here's a preview of what I've got so far: What does everybody think so far? I think it will look a lot better once I get some textures on it. I say release it like that. 
Looks good so far. Though I do agree that a texture would make it look a lot better.

Here's a new preview on my progress so far:  I still have to finish the texture, move some stuff around (like raising his crotch plate), and fix some stretching but I think it's coming along nicely.
