From looking at the DAE, I can already see the problem.
Brawlbox's importer reads each node as either a bone or an object with a single geometry instance, like this:

But your sketchup models have only one object with many geometry instances.

There isn't even a node matrix (implying it's just the identity matrix).

The only way I can think of fixing this would be to create a new object for every geometry instance in a mesh node.
...

So which way is the "right" way, or is there any?
I assume this means we still have to use 3ds Max to generate the DAEs, unless you you completely redo the DAE importer? And what qualifies as a geometry instance, a polygon, a triangle, or just a triangle /edge? Or is it some other unit of classification that I just don't understand?

    I updated the download again; who knows what I added or fixed.
    All I know is that those sketchup collada files are throwing scumbag errors that aren't the real source of the problem, leaving me with no real idea why my code isn't working when I fix it. So that's not fixed. Hopefully I didn't break the model importer trying to get those models to import. Just use 3ds Max or Maya, really.

    Oh yeah I fixed the gif exporter stuff and that def length thingy problem.

    While you're still working on Ikarus do you think you could put the moveset editor back into the program since otherwise we'll be stuck with v0.68b until Ikarus comes out.

    Try pressing Ctrl + Z and then Ctrl + Y after you make a vertex change.
    Or click "Options" on the top menu in the model viewer.

    Really.

    At this rate, I would highly suggest you click View -> Help as well for future reference.

    It's updated...
    I can edit the zip without changing the download link since I'm using dropbox.

    Just download it and trust that it's been updated since I said so. Or don't.

    Found another bug, BJ.

    So, what actually happens is: First off, when you press the insert button to add frames, the model doesn't update in real time like it usually does. And when this happens, sometimes pressing the "1 frame back" button will bring you to the first frame instead. But the worst thing about it is that sometimes adding frames will add a frame in the spot you specified and delete the last frame in the animation at the same time.

    Odd.

    I've found an odd little bug, it's present in all the BrawlBox versions I've tried so far (0.67-0.68c)

    When editing song titles, the "é" in Pokémon normally shows up like this:


    However, when editing titles on a system set to the Japanese locale, the "é" shows up like this:

    Which ends up causing the game to silent freeze when it tries to load the title. Now I don't have much knowledge with this stuff, but I'm guessing it's because the game is trying to load characters that don't exist?

    The odd thing is, when manually pasting the "é" character in, like this, then saving...

    Results in this:

    The odd part is, the "駑" character shows up just fine in game, and the game doesn't crash anymore. Even weirder, I'm pretty sure "駑" isn't even a Japanese character, so I'm not sure why that's in the game in the first place?
