Alright so could you run by me how I would go about deleting the data? I mean I got an idea, but I want to do it 100% right so there's 0 chance that I messed up xD;;
Also, how would I get the new save file that's 100% complete? OH. AND. What codes should I have active?

first:
does your game also crash without codes and gecko/riivo andstuff, youknow, if you launch it through the disc channel?
if so, then download a 100% completed save file from wiisaves or something (google wii saves and you find it)
if not, you don't have to get a new save file...
and the codes,... I don;t think it realy mattters... try using only the file patch code.... if it crashes, its not the codes your using but the files on your sd card..

Okay so I was able to play Brawl no problem from the wii system menu. So I guess I don't need a new save. As for the codes, I tried only using the file patch code and this is the result (Also, I removed the sc_selcharacter and deleted the folder 'menu2'):
-Went on Cheat Code Manager
-Enabled 'File Patch Code v3.5.1 (NTSC-U) [Phantom Wings]'
-Went back to Homebrew Channel
-Launched GeckoOS
-Selected Group
-Selected Brawl
(No freeze, the Character Selection Screen came up fine)
-Selected Marth (Marth has Sephiroth mod on him as well as texture) and a Random character for 2nd player
-Hit Start
-Screen froze at Stage Selection with the sustained 'beeeeeeeeeeeep'

Selmap is similar to Sc_selcharacter.pac. It does the modifications for stage selection. For example: http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m202/antjor_s38/Textures%20Thumbnails/SSSDFB175.png. If that's corrupted, then try deleting it (directory is pf/menu2/sc_selmap.pac). If it isn't there, then I think it was one of the pf/system files (Either common3.pac or common5.pac). |

See thats the thing.. I don't HAVE a menu2 folder. Neither do I have sc_selmap.pac or the selcharacter one

Is that even possible? If it doesn't exist, then try pfmenu2? I think that's the directory. (I use Gecko OS, so I'm just taking a guess.) |
