Finally got around to trying TP link, even made a one slot for Young Link  Any way, you had interesting ideas but, I didnt really like the psa over all. I loved the side B, you did great with that. But all the other moves are kinda useless. Like the neutral B, no damage and they are right next to you ready to attack, same goes for the down B too, it's just another rolling away move. The up B is okay. But when you put these moves over Links B attacks that is a huge problem. Your taking away moves that make Link, Link. Link needs his arrows, and his bombs. The boomerang can be taken away, but bombs and arrows are a must for link. So here is my idea, place the side B over his side A, Down B over Down A, and bring back Links B moves.

Yea I know it attacks too, but it also hardly ever lands. My point is not that the moves are bad, but having these moves replace links specials is a bad idea since his specials is what makes Link Link.

In twilight princess, how often do you use items in-battle in comparison to the hidden skills?
Exactly, that's the reason why I made this PSA, to make Link more capable of using his hidden skills. I would add more, but I'm kinda lazy...
Also, For the neutral special, I'd was that he'd either be able to reflect, or apply knockback. I wasn't able to get both to work. However, it can still negate projectiles and oncoming attacks, so that's a bonus. But if someone knows how to get both to work, I'd gladly update it to fix that problem.
Also, Have you noticed that if you connect Link's shield bash, you have some very early allow interrupt frames. I mean like, they'll still be knocked back while your free to move, it was made for set-ups if used physically. It links well into a side b, dash attack, dacus, or a dash grab. So it's actually pretty useful overall.
Also, I know how to make the down special more effective... It's actually very hard to hit with currently, but the slash is actually pretty strong...
And for the Up Special, it's honestly not that special, also, because of how I shortened the animation, I couldn't use link's original Spin Attack effects without editing them. And the issue with the Great Spin...
Also, who keep on voting for my filler option? Honestly, I put that there so I wouldn't be biased towards the poll... Also, I was getting annoyed at having to switch to see the votes every time because I haven't voted... Anyways, please stop doing it...
EDIT:
I decided to not follow the poll and make Air Thrust for the down special.
WHY did I do it? Because in my gut, I felt that Air Thrust is more applicable to Brawl's style of gameplay that Thunder Blade is.

I'm going to make a poll about this soon.
But now that Ramon released his Kratos model, I can start making some base animations for the PSA. But before that, I'd like to know from people:
Should I make Kratos' animations fit brawl's standards? For example, making Kratos' moves not a direct replication from ToS, but still keeping it's originality. Like how a character kinda takes recoil whenever the use a powerful move or a smash attack. (Like Samus' side smash, or Ganondorf's Warlock Punch.) Or keep it tales styled and keep them still during the execution of the move.
Like I said, a poll will be up soon.

I don't think that I mentioned that I got my version of Kratos' model (both Mercenary and Judgment outfits) and have already made his idle,walk, run, dash, all guard animations, entrance, dash attack (i.e. Fierce Demon Fang), and the all side smash animations (i.e. Lightning Blade and Super Lightning Blade). And got his Cruxis wings on Navi.
So it's starting up well.
Also, my PSA will have multiple weapon sets, like RamonM64's released model.
Also, the CSPs, and all that, will be non-weapon specific, to make it easier for everyone and myself.
Just thought you guys should know what's up...

I guess I'll make a new post...
Anyways, I've finished animating a jump, falling, landing, his neutral combo, up tilt, side tilt, and his down smash. (i.e. Guardian Field)
My moveset in the OP will be altered soon to the new modifications to the moveset. The old down tilt (his generic thrust) is now his forward tilt. His new down tilt will be based off something he does in the OVA.
So I still need to make crouching animations (to fit the new down tilt), the down tilt itself, and the Up Smash (i.e. Light Spear Cannon). Then I'll show you guys some previews.
I may also possibly animate Demon Fang (ground-ver.) and Light Spear while I'm at it.
Just a little notification.

For those that didn't notice, I uploaded a preview to Kratos' animations in the OP.
Also, I plan on fixing that walk... I saw it in-game, and it looks horrible... everything else looks fine.
If there is anything else that looks odd to you, then please, speak up. I'd like to hear people's opinions on this.

Let's hope I don't get post merging this time...
Anyways, two days ago, I've uploaded a brawlbox progress video in the OP of this thread.
Look at my above post for more information. (Under BIG EDIT)
Also, since that video, I've finished his up smash (i.e. Light Spear Cannon), lose animation, revamped some other animations, and almost done animating Light Spear.
Also, I've collected some brawl effects as well. So the effects for Light Spear/Cannon, Entry/Pillar of light, and maybe for Demon Fang, but I'll have to ask the Emil group.

duuude.. its lookin great so far
the animations look pretty smooooth and pretty accurate, like his run and basic attack animations.
the ones that looked off though was the wait and walk animation. in his wait animation he doesnt squat and bend his knees that much.
his current walk looks robotic-E. in symphonia he leaned forward and did those slow steps.
his guard needs him to sorta rotate more, he needs to rotate at the waist to the right.. i cant really explain it without a gameplay video
the last animation looks like what yer gonna use for his entrance (kinda looks like shining bind). it looks good, the shoulder capes needa be rotated a lil up. also give him some more motion at the waistN and bustN.
make as many bones rotate (even if its only a little) in every frame in all animations.
seriously though.. its a great start.

I've fixed the walk, it's waaay better than before. Like 10x. Also, I based that off of his ND3 sprites. I use those whenever I can't get a good video reference. Also, people don't really walk in tales games... And about the stance, yeah, i'll fix that up sometime later. And for the entrance, it's actually his kneeling during the scene where you beat him the first time. The part after is actually based on Kratos' overlimit animation in Vesperia. Also, the effects will make the entrance look epic. Also, I adjusted the guard animation so that it is rotated to make it look more like a tales-styled guard. So that's fixed. Animations not in the video that I finished afterwards are light spear cannon, light spear (both air and ground) and demon fang (both air and ground). I'm currently doing a bit of PSA testing for the new effects I got. It's going pretty well so far. I'll be sure to have some in-game pictures once everything goes well. Since I don't know how to make videos from my wii. Maybe a 2-minute replay could work... Also, It's going to require some hexing for kratos' demon fang to work properly. Well... It's been awhile hasn't it? Kratos' progress has come to a stop and Lloyd's progress is going very well. With shadowsnake's new Lloyd v3 import, Lloyds animations are coming out great! Also, with SDoom's animation class, i thought that I'd show a preview of my final assignment, which is due... Saturday. It's still in a bit of a base state, but once finished, should look incredible. The animation is Hunting Beast/Fiery Beast (Or Shikou Shouhajin/Shikou Bakuenjin in JAP) from the original Symphonia. One of the coolest swordsman moves that I think exist. Here's the preview:
I altered the ShieldM bone in the model to get the beast head to work the way I wanted. There are also some things in the moveset that has been changed/updated, but I'll save that for a later date when it can speak for itself. And recently, I have exams up and coming. My first which I finished earlier today. So it will be a bit slow. But not dead.

Hey lookie, a follower!
And yeah. I have majority of his basic motions done. (really just runturn brake and runturn are left.) And he has 3 comepletely different walking animations for slow, medium, and fast. Most animations need some tweaks here and there though.
As for basic attacks... I have 3 of his 4 neutral combo animations done. And his down tilt is done. I have the looping animation for Rising Falcon done.
Also, I've planned for some neat stuff for Lloyd.
Like his unison attack will function almost the same as in Symphonia. As in, if available, you can cancel the end-lag of ANY attack into a unison attack or even part way with only a few of them.
I plan to have both swords have their own sword trails.
And lots of other cool stuff will included... Just be patient and I'll work hard to satisfy everyone.

Do you take requests? And I have a near perfect idea for a Full fledged Castle Crashers PSA. You'd have to utilize taunts that change B attacks. Which might mean it would work best with players and not cpus. Ill write the B attacks here. The rest ill just store somewhere until im ready to post it. Also, your ideas sound alright but too... Chump if you know what i mean. Tales of characters should have higher % in my opinion, they aren't weak.

Red Lightning B- Lightning Stream= It would function similar to Bowser's Neutral B but shoots lightning straight forward, gets smaller over time. Side B- Lightning Ball= Fires a ball of lightning that can be aimed similar to Link's boomerang. Diagonally up, down, or straight. Tilt or smash could affect strength. Up B- Lightning Jump= Takes the magic jump from CC where Electricity bursts out from underneath his feet. Similar height to Sonic's Spring. Stuns nearby enemies. Like a paralyzer. Down B- Lightning Counter= Stops an oncoming attack with a quick but powerful Lightning slash, looks similar to Link's Ftilt. (comes from CC high level combo with magic finish.)
ORANGE FLAME B- Fire Coil= Shoots a wave of fire a few feet in front that knocks back enemies. Side B- Fire Ball= Shoot a fireball that explodes like Lucas's PK Fire on impact. Functions like Lightning Ball. Up B- Blast Jump= Blasts out fire underfoot while leaping high up. Spikes enemies if underneath. Down B-Flame Counter= Works similar to the Lightning counter, however has high horizontal Kb.
BLUE ICE B- Ice Spear= Calls down a large ice spear that can freeze enemies if it connects. Side B-Ice Shard= Shoots a ball of ice that deals low ice damage. Can freeze with Smash. Up B- Ice Fist= Leaps up by calling a large fist of ice underfoot. Freezes foes if it hits. Down B- Ice Counter= Works similar to Flame Counter but freezes opponents with good vert kb.
GREEN TOXIC B- Venom Cloud= Fires a cloud of poison to damage enemies over time. Works similar to Fire Coil. Side B-Poison Sphere= Shoots a ball that damages enemies over time on hit. Damage up with smash. Up B- Venom Burst= Creates a poison cloud underneath and leaps up, damaging foes over time with low kb. Down B- Drain Counter= Works similar to other counters, however this one heals you 5% and damages foe 5%.
The reason for not doing projectile on B is because AI spams b attacks.
