To be honest, and according to me, it is really a Psa to reflect how Luke is played in his original game, because there are some mechanisms created especially for the occasion and that can only belong to a character created by all pieces in Ssbb. But because of this, this can be a really fun Psa to play with. Of course, there will be quite some work that will have to be done in order to balance him.

But I know how you are Royal Blade. And I know that you prefer much more Psa that have a brawl style gameplay. This is why, if you desire, I can create a moveset more brawl like. But be careful: I can't do this now, you will have to wait the week end for this to be done. It shouldn't be really different from the moveset I did, but a lot of things would be removed and some things will maybe need to be changed a little.

And be careful: Luke is not a character who loves air in the moveset I did, which I think is really coherent.

I have a few more questions then:

1: Can I make Luke combo like this?:
Base arte -> 2nd base arte -> arcane arte
A attack -> arte
Fang Blade Havoc (Fang blade + havoc strike if button is pressed)
Last one is an example. We may not use this arte.

2: I can program in PSA so Luke can use a final smash without a smash ball (of course, it's going to be a complex set instead of just directional B) Do you approve?

3: Once the moveset is finalized, can I take the task of porting the moveset. This means that I will make him appropriate to the following mods:

Brawl+
Brawl-
Project: M
Balanced Brawl
Project Tales (The codeset I posted earlier in the spoiler)

Anyway, let's be serious. I think it's possible with psa to make the attacks connected like you ask in your first question.

But, in the moveset I planned, this is not something really used, in order to not make him too powerful. Of course, if you really want to go that far as to use this tales of attack system, I won't oppose at all, but I really think that it would make him really overpowered, so the moveset will have to be drastically modified in term of knockback, lags, and even damages. But, when I read my moveset, it's true that it is not enough shown... I will have to maybe think about it again...

For the second question, I already have something really similar in the moveset I planned.


For the third question, personnally, I don't see any problem in proting it like you say, it's nice of you in fact, because those who use other versions will be able to play with it.

It is possible to link artes like that. It was more of a "Do you approve" question. However, it looks like you will have to change the moveset, so I'll save that for Project Tales and Brawl-.

If you guys want, I'll teach you a few techniques to accomplish this kind of linking.

the moveset and also see'in you guys work together to get a PSA done of an awesome character is kool. by the way, in the PM it sounded like you were refering to me as not knowing much about abyss. i will let ya know its one of the few games i played from start to finish.. i liked it alot.

all i could do is model import at the moment. so all i can be good for is help by morale support and. Phillia i never thought about using Mieu like that.. that would be awesome. i hope you guys can add in all of that while not going over the size limit. how would you go about gettin mieu in? model importing him over link's navi taunt object? i could hex out meiu's model from abyss PS2 files except without textures.

would that first import happen to be Philia herself?  hahah  i was planning on importin her somewhen, the dude that got me her model said he got the sword with it by the way. from ToVS. theres a OTHER dude that said he gots ALL the ToVS models and is workin on radiant mythology 3

For the private message I sent you, no it is not because I thought you didn't know Tales of the Abyss, it is merely because it was a copy of a file that was in my computer and didn't modified. And I originally made this moveset for someone who didn't truly know Abyss.

Philia, yes I really want to import her, but there is also Barbatos Goetia that would make a very good character, I'm a huge fan of him, even if I prefer much more his model from Tales of Vesperia than in the psp games he appears...

if i can get the model from tempesttime or LJSTAR i could import it for ya, probaly over marth. which is good, marth can be ported over ALOT of characters now if you plan to make her a PSA. that way you could keep focus on PSA'in stuff. unless you want to model import her yourself. the models imports im workin on are all nearly done with a few fixes needed here and there. right now im distracted with friends over so i dont think i can continue workin on em till later tonight.

Ha ha! Take your time, no need to rush! But if you could import her on Ike, it would probably be better. Ike also has the possibility to be ported, but he also has some articles that can be used and would be of great help with her. Unless bombs can also be used by Marth, but as the only bombs in Ssbb are articles if I recall correctly... But I have already a moveset in mind for her that I made a long time ago, she also has a double personality in this moveset, taken from my pseudonym.
